[Roleplay] SSMB Heroes Academy: Protect The Multiverse!

Thanks to her nanites, Nicole could make her whole body glow.

Nicole flies over to Ray, patting his head. "Thank goodness. It would pain me to know our rookies are heavily injured or worse."

[Ryannumber1gamer]

"HAHAHA" 

"If it isn't the Skylanders! Ooo baby, I've certainly heard a lot about you guys..." 

"You took down Jafar and Hades! Oh boy, I'm terrified!"

Suddenly, the figure slammed his foot down, causing the entire room to light up.

The Skylanders found themselves trapped in a massive roulette wheel, Oogie stood in front of them on a giant slot machine, wearing a pumpkin crown.

Beside him, the Skylanders could see Sally tied to a machine that was attempting to drip feed darkness into her, while Dr. Finkelstein fiddled with it. 

Oogie and Jack suddenly got into a singing battle in front of all of the Skylanders.

"Ha! It's time to face the music Jack! Your days as king are through! It's the Oogie Boogie Man's world! And you Skylanders are about to learn to never place your bets against me!" 

[Failinhearts]

Neptune is seen spinning around on the roulette, avoiding death trap after death trap. "Okay... after this, can we go to Casino Night? Please? I'm sure it'll be a lot better than this!"

[Polkadi~☆]

Nicole looks around, confused.

"What the heck is this...?!"

Nonetheless, Nicole prepares for a fight, to take down Oogie and rescue Sally. But then she wonders, what are they doing on the roulette wheel?

[Agie]

"Whooaaahh...!" said Amitie. "I'm getting dizzy..."

"This reminds me of a situation I've been in...!" said Lupin.

Sig looks out for Amitie, but he's getting dizzy himself.

Goemon looks for a good spot to slice.

Katii lifted her head rubbing it from the impact, "Ow. You'd think a ghost wouldn't feel pain..."

Katii, being half cat, was able to see well in the dark. She noticed Papyrus face flat on the ground and Hiss rubbing her sore thorax. They seemed a little battered, as did everyone else, but otherwise nothing too serious. 

The catling continued to look around, unable to make heads or tails of where they were. All of the sudden, the room was filled with light!

"IS THIS ONE BIG PUZZLE ROOM?!" Papyrus asked out loud, "IMPRESSIVE! I CAN'T WAIT TO SOLVE THESE!"

"Hate to burst your bubble, Pap, but this isn't a puzzle room." Katii observed, "It appears to be based off of a gambling room... a casino as others seem to call it."

Katii grimaced as she took notice of some of the death traps around her, "And juding from this Oogie Boogie guy, I got a feeling this is all rigged to kill us all."

[MightyRay]

"We g-gotta free Sally from the darkness! She'll get sick if we don't stop that hack!" Ray told Nicole the nerves had come back again.

"The only problem is I don't know if I can outlast this thing!" Ray screeched. He gut was screaming to get out of this trap.

"It's time for the pumpkin king to learn about my real plan!" Oogie said, as he held some dice in his hand.

"I'm not only gonna be the ruler of this world, but I've also captured the other Holiday leaders, and I'll take their place as every holiday leader!, Soon every single holiday in the real world will be filled with the horror of the Oogie Boogie Man!" 

"Now then, who's ready for a gamble?!" Oogie said, as he flipped dice into the roulette table

Suddenly, massive scythes came down onto the roulette table, spinning around and slicing up and down, forcing the Skylanders to have to attempt to dodge the scythes. 

"Time to cut your odds in half baby!" Oogie taunted, as he danced around the room.

"Focus Maya! Focus!", Phoenix alerted the girl as the roulette they were on started to spin.

"Oh boy, you guys have no idea just how RIGGED this thing can get!", Sora warned. "Deathtraps, shooting ranges, buzzsaws....."

As the boy went on and on......

"Yikes! Uh, Dadddy! Think you wouldn't mind sharing some of your gamblers' luck with us!?", Trucy said as she leaped over the scythes!

"I'd rather they not be cut open and spilled onto you!", Phoenix said as he was doing his best to run in time with the scythes to keep out of harm' way!

Nicole jumps and slides around the scythes, being careful not to get hit. "This is why I don't gamble my odds!"

// "I hope this works..."

"Zombie minions, go!" Nicole shouts as she summons her minions.

The zombies just stand there, before they're sliced up.

// "...welp, they're useless"

[Agie]

"Waaah!" Amitie shouted, dodging the scythes, and trying to survive! She is clearly frightened, but as always, she does her best to stay strong!

"Friggin' hell!" said Jigen.

"Amitie! You okay?!" said Lupin while dodging scythes.

"I'm alright!" said Amitie.

Sig tries dodging scythes as well.

Goemon dodges them no problem.

[Cheawn]

Sword Kirby and the Blues get to dodging the scythes around the arena. As the Blues roll under a couple of scythes, they complain,

"No way Oogie Boogie! You're no representative of any holiday!"

"Not even Halloween, with how much you focus on the tricks rather than the treats!"

"We like our Easters and Christmases without blades of death, thank you very much!"

Sword Kirby flattens himself against the floor to get past a swinging scythe and slides under another scythe. He shouts while doing so,

"Kindness is what makes a holiday an holiday! You aren't kind at all, so you shouldn't have any to yourself! Kind people don't take control of other people and they don't put people in giant roulette wheels! You should let us, Sally, and Dr. Finkelstein go!"

I thought I was done with roulette wheels when I stopped Haltmann's casinos... I really don't like these things.

A scythe swings lower than normal to strike at Kirby, which knocks him into the air and into another scythe. The impact of the second scythe knocks off Sword Kirby's cap and makes Sword Kirby drop his sword. The sword plunges into the cap and both objects disappear, leaving Kirby without a Copy Ability.

(Kirby regained his Air element!)

(Kirby lost his Knight class and regained his Bazooker class!)

Kirby slams back into the floor, dazed as a result.

[Spin Attaxx]

"GYAH!" Jessica yelped as she ducked and swerved between and around the scythes. "Couldn't we have dealt with a slot machine instead?!"

"I don't- GYAH! -think that we'd be- WOAH! -any better off if- AGH! - we did!" Lumina shouted between hops.

Poor Ivorn wasn't anywhere near as agile as his fellow Mystics, and while the scythes couldn't cut through his metal body, they still knocked him around like a little pinball... or pincube, in this case.

[Agie]

One of the scythes damages Lupin's jacket, though. Just to prove that thing isn't safe even in this world.

"Oh, come on! That's another jacket wrecked!" he yelled.

[Failinhearts]

"Perhaps if we can find some way to get the odds in our favor... perhaps we can beat him at his own game!" Kaede points out, looking at Oogie's dice.

"You... don't suggest we're Egg Dealer-ing this thing, are you?" Homura asks. "Because there's no way there's another villain that stupid to make a device that has a chance of screwing with them!"

"It's worth a shot!" Kaede barks back. "What's your plan? Spinning around endlessly?"

[Ryannumber1gamer]

"I gots me some information on you Skylanders before you came, so I decided to make some special gambles for you!" Oogie said, as he threw down another set of dice. Suddenly, massive gabbles and hammers began smashing down onto the roulette, attempting to smash the Skylanders.

[Failinhearts]

Homura flies in the air thanks to the hammers, causing Homura to land on Sonic.

"H-Hey!" Sonic yells, squished.

"Okay... Egg Dealer-ing it... it is." Homura says, pressing a button on her shield.

NEXO POWER: ORBITAL STRIKE

A magical satellite appears from the sky, aiming at Oogie Boogie, however, Homura's lack of concentration thanks to the hazards is causing the attacks to have poor aim.

[Spin Attaxx]

Jessica ran back and forth along the wheel, avoiding the hammers' pounding. She tried to fire off some Void Bullets, but she wasn't particularly focused on where they were going.

"Ha! Can't touch me!" Lumina taunted as she zipped between each hammer's impact. "Try something else, ya burlap bully!"

"LUMINA, DON'T YOU START, WE CAN'T ALL MOVE AT LIGHTSPEED"

[Cheawn]

Kirby and The Blues dash around the roulette table, dodging hammers left and right. Jay accidentally crashes into an already fallen hammer, making him a sitting duck for another hammer to whack him. At least, until Kirby pushes Jay out of the way just in time. Eventually, the Blues reach the dice that were thrown onto the roulette table. 

"Hey, I think that if we"

"move the dice Oogie throws onto"

"another side, we can change the attack!"

The Blues pick up the dice set that summoned the hammers before flipping the dice around and placing them back on the roulette table. 

Kirby and The Blues dash around the roulette table, dodging hammers left and right. Jay accidentally crashes into an already fallen hammer, making him a sitting duck for another hammer to whack him. At least, until Kirby pushes Jay out of the way just in time. Eventually, the Blues reach the dice that were thrown onto the roulette table.

"Let's see what the odds are"

"now Oogie Boogie! We bet they're"

"We need some way to snatch those dice from him!" Sonic says. "Skylanders, nab them under any means necessary!"

Sonic dodges a hammer as he manages to go behind it and pull it out of its place. He begins whacking other hazrds with it.

[Spin Attaxx]

"On it!" Lumina shouted, tossing glowing balls of light at Oogie to distract him while Lily sent thick vines out to snatch the dice from the ghoul's hand.

[Ryannumber1gamer]

"Looks like the gamble isn't on your side Skylosers!" Oogie said, as the trap switched to massive blades in the shape of Keyblades.

"Oh great, now he's stealing my weapon" Roxas said, as he blocked one of the keyblades with his own, halting the machine for a small period of time.

"It appears now might be your chance to steal those dice". Edgeworth said.

"Well, if our pattern stands, he might also have info on whoever's gunning for us next! Assuming we survive this!", Phoenix said as he flattened himself against a wall to avoid a set of hammers that nearly squashed him!

"Well then we've got to try something to get up there and pummel the info out of him....unfortunately we still haven't found a means of escaping this casino!", Maya said.

Wishing to help out, Ivorn did the only thing he could; create a large, heavy spiked ball and toss it straight at Oogie, hopefully giving everyone else a chance to get the dice away from him.

[Failinhearts]

Sonic hastily tries to dig through his ninja suit's pockets for some type of gadget. "Dammit... there's no weapons here- OH."

He pulls out four small grey spheres. "Heh. Now we're talking!" He wastes no time and throws them at Oogie.

"SMOKE BOMB!"
