Sonic's sword shuts down. "Well, uh..." He turns to Sig, a silence looming over the two from the awkward moment...

Sig smiled. "Thanks." He liked the compliment.

"Yay for Sig!" said Amitie.

"...Wow. Guess those hammers were just for show!" said Chi, surprised at Rose Woman's... 'effortless' defeat.

"Did we just... win?" Silver asked, still aching.

"I think so. She doesn't seem to be fighting back..." Chi replied.

"Oh, that's good. Gives me a moment to recover, at least," said Silver.

"How are you holding up, bro?" Chi asked Omega.

"WEAPON SYSTEMS DAMAGED. UNABLE TO FIX."

"IF ANY MEATBAGS HERE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH WEAPONRY, I WILL BEGRUDGINGLY ACCEPT YOUR ASSISTANCE."

"Hmm, she seemeda a bit reliant on her robot Sonics to fight for her..." Nicole comments.

"Rock? @Ryannumber1gamer If you may."

"Did somebody say... WEAPONRY?!" Tails inches closer to Omega. He gets out his wrench and lightly taps it against his arm.

Omega showed Tails his still-twisted miniguns, so that the fox could fix them. However, he couldn't help but notice...

"YOU SEEM EAGER TO REPAIR THESE WEAPONS! IS THIS SOMETHING YOU ENJOY?" he asked Tails.

"I'm a weapons specialist. Of course I love dealing with them." Tails says as he morphs his wrench into a small crowbar, using all of his might to pry and reposition the miniguns into their proper positions.

"And that makes nine. Plus the final number we needed!" Rock said excitedly.

"Alright Blues, you can bring us home" Rock said.

"..."

"...Blues...?"

There was no response.

Sayaka's head tilts in confusion. "Earth to Blues? We're still stuck here."

"Hello?" Sayaka scratches her head.

"Uugghh... Sonic...? Wh-what happened...?" Amy Rose asks, dazed and confused. "My memories are all fuzzy, I can't remember a thing... There was the attack on Angel Island, then..."

Getting up, she holds her head, trying to think.

"...I LIKE THIS 'TAILS'! I SUGGEST THAT WE REPLACE THE OLD TAILS WITH THIS ONE!" said Omega, gleeful to see his weapons in perfect shape once more.

Suddenly, the teleport beam comes down, taking the Skylanders and Amy back. However, things aren't as they seem. 

As the Skylanders arrive back, the entire HQ is an utter mess. There's been several security robots flung into the monitor, the table and chair have been utterly demolished, the emeralds are missing, and Blues is nowhere to be seen, his shield is found on the ground cracked in half.

"Well well, if it isn't the Skylosers. I've heard such a great deal about you all" Bass said in a mocking tone as he appeared, grabbing a bruised and beaten Blues in a chokehold, with Blues' chest smoking.

"Go ahead and attack me. But we both know one more shot directly into his core will kill this useless machine" Bass taunted.

"Hey, hey. How about you and I go up to hills when all this is over and do some target practice?" Tails eagerly asks, glad to see someone as excited about weapons as he is. However, Tails is suddenly met with a smack on the back on the head.

"We have more crucial things than your love for instruments of destruction, here!" Homura scolds, pointing at what's happening in front of them.

"Bass, you don't usually resort to such cowardly methods like ambush and hostages, why are you doing this...and how did you find us?!" Rock shouted.

"Correct, Blue idiot. But that stupid doctor and his ugly pals have given me my instructions. I have to be smart this time" Bass said with an look of anger.

"As for how I found you...you can thank your Knuckleheaded frien- oh actually, he's more our friend now. He had so many secrets to share with us, and he was so happy to do so" Bass said.

"Whoa, what?!" Amy exclaims. "What is going on?!"

"Blues!" Nicole also exclaims.

"...What do you want?" she asks, knowing that there's not really a way out of this.

"...No... you didn't..." Sayaka's expression darkens, knowing exactly what Bass is talking about.

Sonic's hands curl up into a fist. "He did!"

"You roboticized him, didn't you?!"

"...So much for that victory..." said Chi.

"YOU SEEM LIKE SOMEONE WHO CRAVES DESTRUCTION!" Omega said to Bass. "A PITY THAT YOU CHOSE THE WRONG SIDE!"

Bass simply grinned in response. "Sure, but his robotisation...oh it was so much more. They really went to town on him. Properly broke him beforehand". Bass said.

"What a cowardly set of tactics..." Espio said with a death glare.

"I'm getting so sick of your "brainwash and roboticise" nonsense" Roxas said.

"G-guys, what do we do...?" Yuta asked.

Sonic just stands there, glaring at Bass, his focus occasionally changing between his foe and back to the beaten up Blues. "...Well, what do you want? You got the emeralds. You trashed the whole damn place. What now?"

"If you're holding Blues like that and threatening to kill him if we attack, you're clearly not looking for a fight. So what? You just wanna tease us like a human dangling a ball of yarn near a cat?!"

"You did WHAT to Knuckles? Oh, you are SO getting it!" Amy shouts, summoning her Piko Piko Hammer out of hammerspace!

 

Nicole crosses her arms. "What exactly do you want from us? You've gotten all the Chaos Emeralds we have."

 

Amy hides the emerald she had with her, nodding in response to Nicole.

Bass got a small grin,

"The emeralds are like a set of trading cards. You need the whole collection" Bass said with a hiss. 

"Hand over that emerald and I won't kill this pathetic waste of scrap".

"We don't have any emeralds left, so leave us alone!" Amy states, still trying to hide her emerald.

[Failinhearts]

"This is the most cliched thing you could do... Blackmail us." Sonic says as he looks at Blues. "...But it's cliched for a reason. It's effective."

"Amy, hand him the Emerald." He demands.

Sayaka looks at Sonic. "B-But Sonic, what if he takes his cake and eats it too? He could just shoot Blues and be on his merry way with the Emerald!"

"That's why..." Sonic points at Bass. "...You let Blues go first. Then you get the Emerald."

Suddenly Amy felt herself attacked and lunged on...

"Grrrrrrrrr" Treble said, lunging his head in back and forth while manically trying to bite Amy, a small gun popping out of his head.

"Oh, look at that, two easy targets" Bass said with a chuckle.

"You aren't in a position to negotiate you mutant piece of candy. Hand over the emerald now" Bass said.
