Yeah, Oil Desert is a pretty bland name. How about "Refinery Rampage" or "Oil Alley?" Something with a bit of personality. Still, I suppose it's no worse than "Green Forest."

Yes, Oil Desert is bland, but so are half the other names in this series, I can overlook that at least.

My point is that half the stage names sounds just an boring and unoriginal as Oil Desert, be they from old or new games. Sometimes you get clever names like Sylvania Castle and Cool Edge, and other times you get crap like Power Plant and <colour> Hill. Oil Desert sounds somewhat off, but eh. Even I'm not going to complain about that, and I love complaining about all that is Sonic 4.

I don't see why we should settle for something just because other games did it too, and I'm just going to leave it at that. I really don't want to get into a heated discussion over what's a good name and what's a bad name you know? wink.png

I like the name. Sonic 2 gave us Oil Ocean, Sonic 4 gives us Oil Desert. It's like Casino Night vs Carnival Night.

Anyone else notice that as the zone progresses Sonic and Tails destroy the machinery and the sun starts to shine through the clouds?

I find that pretty cool!

I'm starting to think those tutorial monitors can't be trusted! That'd be interesting, if some of them tricked you into doing something you shouldn't...

I was referring to the name more than the actual stage, though. This is considering the conversation topic was on the stage names. Was it not?

Video contains random bits of episode 2.... pity the person who filmed it decided that the best way to display it was by breaking up the footage and slapping on a crap soundtrack over the top of it.

Its quite a difficult video to watch due to how to it cuts. Although the person who uploaded does comment on episode 2 at the end. He said that he really found it very fun.

Again, going by a lot of Twitter comments, people are enjoying episode 2 a lot.

Oh and Sega was giving away free lollipops and avatar awards.

Edit: The Sonic 4 booth can be seen at 4:24 it's not that exciting to be honest... although I want one of those Sega shirts!
