The Final Boss is just basically Sonic 2's.

I am disappointed, really.

This is utterly terrible. Leaked footage of the first stage? Fine- such ALWAYS happens. Leaked levels names and unlockables? Rather early and a kick in the nuts to SEGA. Leaked footage of EVERY FUCKING STAGE? Awful for the developers. And now the cliffhanger? Simply dreadful.

I'm disappointed with the person who has intentionally leaked everything. Once it's out, there's no point in avoiding it because finding stuff out is inevitable unless you want to live away from the internet for a good three months. This is so sad.

Right, I've had it. Since you all are so #&%*ing impatient that you couldn't help but spoil the entire *@&%ing game for yourselves (and, for the record, ruined plans we had in the works—$^#& all of you), I think it's about time I strip your right to talk about this game. Hope you're proud of yourselves!

By the way! You're all !^#@ing despicable. Grow the *^($ up.

I wanna know what he meant by "you ruined plans we had in the works." what plans are these?

Damn Sega, just damn :( . I'm glad to see the game looks amazing but I want SEGA's legal team to throw the book(and a couple of Dreamcasts) at this Infinity guy for spoiling Sonic 4 for everyone just for his 15 minutes of internet fame. I hope they make a good example of him so folks on PartnerNET will think twice about doing this to Ep. 2 +.

I found it amusing that they did that.... what? Did they not see the Final Stage was going to be posted really soon or were they dumb enough to think that people would control themselves on not leaking the entire game? Especially how on how fast the leaks were coming in.

Now after seeing the whole game leaked I hope they can add in some "No Rings" mode to the game. I'd love that.

It's funny how Retro is blaming everyone, but in honesty I would like to see SSMB take the same approach to stopping S4 discussion. I feel so fucking sorry for SEGA, Dimps and Sonic Team. This leak was entirely out of their hands- there must be some of it's developers out there who a wholly distraught at the state of things. There's only one possible way for it to get worse, and I sincerely hope it doesn't/

I've already sworn to myself for seeing everything, I am buying this game three times on every console I can. I like what I see, I looked, I at least want to promote them.

Likewise. Sonic 4 does, to me, look fantastic. And I'll be buying it for 360 and Wii, PS3 when I get one and anything I'm able to. The leaks aren't going to be justified though. I just want to express my sorrow.

EDIT: Had to add quotes, otherwise it looks like "Likewise, I'm leaking again"... ._.'

i don't think discussion about an upcoming game should just be stopped. and honestly, i was really glad for the first couple of leaks, it put my worries about the game to rest. i am REALLY psyched for the game.

but with that said, there really wasn't a reason to leak the entire flippin thing. ESPECIALLY the cliffhanger ending. really kinda a bummer that it got out. I'm still going to love the game and buy the game and play it to death, but still. Spoilers are just a double edged sword.

Well even though it's leaked I still plan on buying it. I bet Sega are pissed though. Oh well, hopefully episode 2 and 3 are leak free. Maybe after this incident posting leaks should be made ban worthy.

Yeah, I'm among the group that feels sorry for SEGA about this whole mess. If this whole incident proves anything, it proves that PartnerNET needs much tighter security. I hope Infinity at least gets banned on Retro for this (which might actually happen since Tweaker's pretty pissed), if not sued by SEGA.

I'm not gonna lie, I was actually happy when Splash Hill Act 1 was leaked; seeing full gameplay of a stage was great. However, going beyond that (especially for a game this short) was just too much. I was orignially just going to get this on PS3 and 360, but now I'll probably set some extra money aside for the Wii version as well just to show SEGA a little extra support.

So where exactly are people finding all these leaks for Mad Gear zone and ....the other stuff???? There's nothing on Sonic Retro now, except a rude message. Seriously, people have a weird sense of pointing the blame finger, blaming and banning members for being curious?! Blame SEGA for having crap security, not people for being curious, it's all just because some people don't have any wilpower then get annoyed when they ruin it for themselves.

I know people aren't supposed to post links, but if someone can guide me in the right direction, seeing everyone talking about it and not knowing is annoying as hell - like people all in on some joke that you aren't in on. I would love to see some of these leaks as I really don't care about spoling the game as I don't really see how you can spoil this game: if you've played Green Hill zone, Labyrinth zne, Casino Night zone and Metropolis zone then Congratulations - you've spoiled the game for yourself!

Actually it's more Microsoft than anything, even Tweaker acknowledged that. It was all leaked due to PartnerNET.

The final boss is epic in my opinion, the final boss looks much cooler and better than the original in my opinion.

The thread is hidden to rid all links to the videos. And it's lock to prevent any talk that doesn't lead to retarded shit.

First of all, it's was never SEGA's fault this got leaked. It's was and always has been PartnerNET. and even if we avoid watching the videos, the entire thread will talk about the videos in mind, thus spoiling it for everyone else.

Not even close. They look similar but have their own play styles that separates them from the Genesis brethren. It's stupid logic like that that got the Sonic 4 thread on Retro removed and making the NeoGAF one just as retarded.

Can't help but feel bad for SEGA/Dimps for Mircosoft's shitty security, but the damage is done.

This is...well, terrible. :( I can't believe the whole game's been leaked before release...

It's kind of ironic though, as it was one of Sega's most secretive Sonic projects in awhile. They put so much effort into keeping things underwraps this time, well, back in the "project needlemouse" stage anyway.

It gets progressively better as the fight goes along. It could be a little more difficult though. Not S2 difficult however. That was crappy.

And yeah, if we're right then these leaks were entirely out of SEGA/Dimps/Sonic Team's hands.

This makes me wonder, does shit like this happen often because of PartnerNET or did Sega just have some seriously bad luck? I'm not an 360 gamer so could someone tell me if anything like this has happened before. This incident might just get M$ to fix P-Net or force Sega to make this a disc based retail game to avoid this.

And yeah, I'm buying this game on each of my PSN accounts and my cousin's Wii just to show my support.

It has happened a little in the past, namely with Alien Homoind (spelled second part wrong, I know it) but nothing of this scale, but this is likely because even if Sonic is so mixed in opinion, he's a star of gaming and this game is a big deal.

If episode 2 and 3 have to be placed on partnerNET in order to go to the 360 then they should just release the 360 version later. This way Sega can release the rest spoiler free simply by not having it on partnerNET until it releases on PS3 & Wii. It might not be fair for 360 owners to have to wait but it beats the whole game being leaked again.

This is why you don't upload stuff that isn't finished. M$'s PartnerNET is the only way to get stuff on LIVE, so they have to finish the game a month or two before release day. PSN and Wi-Fi on the other hand, get updated when the stuff is on the service. For example, the Wii Shop Channel is updated at different times each Monday.

I'll definitely be buying this ASAP when it's available, to show support, and if I had a PS3 or Wii, I'd buy it for those too.
