"You had to bring that up, did ya?" Tails said to Rosie. "Serena, where are you...?"

[Klinsy]

Serena entered the courtroom triumphantly:
"Have no fear, Serena is here!"

"I can read the thoughts of others, so I am reliable."

"So, tell me, Serena, what is that black and white cat thinking?"

"I'm really hungry."

"... Anything else?"

"Gosh, I wish Whitney was on our side, she's cuter than a tiny fishing lure."

Whitney blushed but tried to hide it.

"... Let's see if those thoughts change if we bring up some stuff."

[Failinhearts]

"Bring up some stuff, eh? I'll be right back!" Sonic dashes out of the courtroom and goes into Punchy's house.

He scavanged his room and finds pictures of Whitney. "Hmmmm..."

Sonic dashes back with the pictures.

"Why'd you bring that stuff up for?" The judge asked.

"Just thought I'd give Punchy some momentos. If he does end up in jail, at least he'll have something to remember his past life." Sonic said. "Here you go." Sonic passes the pictures of Whitney over to him.

[Klinsy]

Whitney stopped blushing:

"He won't be in  jail, he'll be d-dead."

"HOLD IT! Serena, ask Punchy what he did on the night of the incident."

"Well, I did consider breaking in, but I didn't actually do it, and I most certainly didn't kill anyone."

"... His thoughts are the same of what he just said."

"Ha!"

"He could be lying, the clever can train their brains to lie too."

"I actually have a way to disprove this, Whitney, catch!"

"Gah! Don't throw things at me! What is this?"

"It's a magtama, if he's lying, you can see locks."

"... I don't see any locks."

"Exactly."

[Failinhearts]

"We rest our case. And speaking of rest... zzzzzzzz." The Sleep Dragon fell asleep, satisfied that not only Punchy got off the hook, but because he got to hear a gavel.

[Klinsy]

Whitney wave her fingers:
"Tell me, does this green spiral take into account technicalities?"

"Um, no, I don't think it does."

"So, Punchy is telling the truth ... he didn't kill him, but who said he couldn't have ordered the other two to kill them?"

"That's ridiculous, one is little girl and one is disgusted by killing."

"We all wear masks, Rosie, but which one is real? The one that hides your face or the one that is your face?"

[Failinhearts]

"Simple, have the other people plead for why they aren't guilty. If the magtama doesn't show locks, they're home free." Sonic says. "You can't argue with lie detecting magic."

[Klinsy]

Whitney laughed:
"So, tell me, little girl, has anyone asked you to kill someone?"

"No, not at all!"

"... I see locks."

"What? That can't be true!"

"See for yourself"
Whitney threw it to Rosie:

"What? T-There are locks..."

Everyone looks to Sweetie Belle.

"What?" Sonic says.

"How can this be?" Tails exclaims.

"Wait, what did I miss?" Sleep Dragon says, waking up.

[Klinsy]

Rosie tried to give an explanation:

Rosie: "Sweetie Belle was briefly under the control of a evil man named Xehanort, while he didn't do it directly, he did more or less order her to basically kill."

Whitney: "Oh, is that so? Can you bring this X-Treme to the stand and have him prove this?"

Rosie: "That's not even smug at this point, it's dumb, are we really going try to prove that a evil guy is doing evil?"

Whitney: "I suppose, it's the opposite of what you're doing right now."

[Failinhearts]

"What?" Sonic said. "How come you didn't tell us this before?!"

"This is just hurting my head." Sleep Dragon said, confused.

[Klinsy]

Sweetie Belle remembered:

Sweetie Belle: "Oh, yeah, that one evil guy had me under his control at some point, I don't really remember him ordering me to kill, but I think he could."

Rosie: "... I see no locks."

Whitney: "So, I won't be having to send a little girl to her death then, hmph, you still haven't got anything on that lynx however, and you, Mr. Blue Circle, I have my suspicions  on you.,"

[Failinhearts]

"Here we go..." Sonic said, tapping his foot. "Let's get this over with. You know, if it wasn't for people like us, you'd be dead long ago."

Calamity groaned. "That's not even a real body, just look at it!"

The judge shrugged. "There still remains the matter of who did it."

[Failinhearts]

"Somebody obviously wanted to frame us, but we still don't know who. That person has to be here somewhere!" Tails said.

"Sonic, did you place the body there?" Tails asks.

"Obviously not." Sonic says, with his arms folded. No locks.

"I didn't." The Sleep Dragon said. No locks.

"I of course didn't." Tails said. No locks.

[Klinsy]

Rosie pointed her finger at Whitney.

Rosie: "The one who actually committed the crime is you! No alibi, no justice, no dreams, no hope! It's time to pay for your crimes! Take that!  Magtama, reveal the truth!"

Whitney: "What are you blathering about? I didn't do it."

Rosie: "... There is no locks."

Whitney: "Of course there isn't, judge give our incompetent defense a penalty."

Judge: "Duty noted."

Rosie: (This just isn't my day.)

Whitney: "I would like to call in my witnesses, Josh the cat and Alan the Police Officer."

[Failinhearts]

Alan stumbled out of his seat, intentionally spilling coffee over Sonic. "Whoops, sorry there, kiddo."

"I'm millions of years older than you... remember that." Sonic says, grumbling.

"Oh, I will, gramps." Alan responds, pissing Sonic off.

[Klinsy]

Rosie did not tolerate Alan:

Rosie: "If you do not get your witness under control, I will ask to get you a penalty."

Whitney: "Fine, fine, Alan, control yourself."

"You go first Josh, you have to get home before curfew after all"

Josh: "... Um, I thought this was about stealing marshmallows? I didn't see anyone kill anybody."

Whitney: "Joshy, boy, I understand you are young and can not stand the trauma of death, so, I will accept you subconsciously denying it."

Josh: "But I really didn't see..."

Alan:"Shut up, kid, and let a man take the stand." 
 

[Failinhearts]

Sonic washes himself off with a towel as he sees Josh get shoved to the side. "And he calls us the jerks, right?"

"What?" The Sleep Dragon says.

"Nevermind."

[Klinsy]

Rosie started to get curious:

Rosie: "Say, Alan, you didn't enter the store that day, did you?"

Alan: "That is what I did."

Rosie: "And what were you doing there?"

Alan: "Buying stuff."

Rowie: "... Oh."

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

"Wait a minute." Said Lucario, who joined the court, "How can you buy stuff when the store is closed at that time? Granted you're a security guard but..."

[Failinhearts]

"Lucario brings up a valid point." Tails says. "The store had nobody working at the cash register at the time!"

[Klinsy]

Alan try to save his butt:

Alan: "I was at the store at a earlier time, you dumbos."

Whitney: "Alan, be more respectable or your testimony will no longer be taken."

Rosie: "Meowkie, give records for what time the store was open that day!"

Meowkie: "... Accordin' to this, it wasn't open at all." 

Rosie: "... It's time to spill the beans, Alan, or should I say, BTYT Agent!"

[Failinhearts]

"BTYT Agent?!" Tails gasped, and whipped out the DEUS, scanning him. "Plastic! How come I never thought of this sooner!"

"What is a BTYT and what does plastic have to do with anything?" Calamity asked. "Are they super spies? This place is weird enough for it."
