Huh, the voices are all on spot... I'll admit, they did actually a pretty great job, going by the trailer, at first I thought Satsuki's voice was kind of unfitting of her, but the second part of the trailer really showed how the voice really fits.

Sarah Williams is Nonon

Everyone go home. She is perfect for the role. Also, Mako is Christine Marie Cabanos. Quite an unexpected choice, but she's a great actress.

I'm pretty much cool with everyone except Satsuki who I thought was just alright and Senketsu which was so fucking bad why the fuck is it so high pitched NO! Also "Senkets?" No. 

 

Standouts to me were Ryuko, Mako, Nudist BEACHHHHHHHHH guy and Nonon, everyone else was fine but not standout.

I'm mixed on Ryuko and to a lesser extent Satsuki. I figure they'll just take time getting used to.

 

While I think Mako could sound a little more energetic, the fact that Christine Cabanos kept up with her at all is a feat I can't ignore. Respect.

 

The Four is pretty great for the most part, but Nonon is... I mean, the casting choice is perfect, but ehhh... I dunno.

Trust me, Sarah will do Nonon wonders. We just need more scenes with her.

The Elite Four sound pretty spot on really; Gamagoori is Patrick Seitz, nothing more needs to be said. Sangeyama sounds pretty laid back, which fits his character, Inamuta sounds like a smartass, and Nonon's got the nasal.

 

 

Only one I'm iffy about is Senketsu....but I blame Blazblue for that, because all I hear is Jin Kisaragi.

how does 4 episodes per volume work? it only draws it up to 20 episodes.

 

Also no word on the OVA/episode 25 special being dubbed/included at all.

Isn't the way it works is that they shove an extra episode or two into the final volume?

If Japan already got them we might.
