At least, in 06 Sonic trusted his friends, while Modern Sonic treats them like they are inferior peasants. Modern Sonic is a selfish and unfunny hedgehog who has to always take the spotlight.

To you maybe. To me, Sonic as he is now, is how he should always have been and always should be. His character bio's always list him as cocky and impatient and so forth. Modern Sonic, is this, especially in Colours. Generations, he's a bit more down-to-Earth, but still an amazing improvement of what would seem like the empty puppet that was '06 Sonic.

You insulted me! You're so hardcore!!!!

Just because he's the main character doesn't mean he can't share the glory.

In DBZ, Goku let other characters shine.

>main character of the series

>needs to let other characters share the glory

Go watch Sonic X and tell me how well that worked.

Riiiight, the series where everyone dies because they don't have OVER 9000 power levels and Goku defeats the enemy by Super Saiyan blinking (This is my last memory of DBZ, so forgive me if I don't remember all the details).

Too bad that in DBZ, you're worthless if you're not even partly Saiyan.

That was the worst possible example you could have used.

It was an example....

Yeah, but Sonic isn't Goku. And I REALLY wish some people on the internet would let that go...

You mean The Saiyan Show, starring the saiyans?

In SA and SA2, Tails was an independent person, while in Colours/Unleashed, he is shown as an inferior child who is helpless without Sonic.

No, I'm pretty sure it was shown he was able to fend by himself in Colors.

(Tails) is shown as an inferior child

Is that why he dived in front of a giant laser of indeterminable power without thinking twice in Colors?

I dunno WHAT version of Colours you played, because I didn't see anything portraying Tails like that in there.

.......Sonic saved Tails's ass in SA1. Tails also fawns over him for most of the game.

In Colors he was shown to not rely on Sonic much anymore.

Tails' whole arc in the Adventures was about finding his own way to do things; he wasn't independent when they started. And he's perfectly competent and capable on his own in Unleashed and Colors, he's just a support character rather than a front-line fighter.

But it was more than just 1 person, unlike one-man-army Sonic who thinks his friends are inferior and don't deserve any glory.

Sonic never said this.

He never implied this.

Where are you getting this?

You keep saying this; it literally never happened.

In SA2, Sonic let Shadow defeat Biolizard.

Modern Sonic would attack Shadow if he got in the way of glory.

Again you're literally making shit up at this point. Either you're trolling or blinded by delusional anger.

Now where the fuck are you getting this "thinks his friends are worthless" bullshit from?

Sonic thinks the total opposite in regards to his friends - otherwise Generations would go from having little story to no story.

Which is why he let the three knights in Black Knight help him defeat Merlina.

No. He'd be grateful for the help and move on. While he's cocky, he's not an actual cock.

No video or image only posts either. These count as spam, which is also against the rules, and is now an addendum to my previous warning. Any more of these will warrant a strike.

Is that canon?

Yes, in fact. Black Knight is canon.
