I really hope they'll introduce stages that aren't seaside here soon. The idea of a general area with a theme split between different areas is a good idea. I do hope they'll change the Badniks around as well. An urban area should be a given at this point; with how many they stuffed into Generations it's kind of amusing they haven't released anything of the sort for Dash.

Eggman will hopefully become new content here soon.. it's really weird to have the Eggman symbol without Eggman himself, as was mentioned. Making it so not every spring leads to a boss is another grand idea, just so one can freely choose whether or not to tango with the same boss battle for the millionth time.

If anything, I'd want to run on the orange energy paths in Metropolis City, with turtles and Egg Pawns to take out as enemies.

why has my game suddenly stopped keeping my high score now? It was doing it just fine the other day and now all of a sudden, my high score doesn't show up anymore and any score I make doesn't even register if I did break it or not. Whats up with this?

Huh... just as we all pointed out the Eggman monitors for the boss battle, the most recent update today changed them to actual Zazz monitors.

 

 

Here's hoping they bring back the Eggman monitors for an actual Eggman boss soon.

I think the change to Zazz monitors means we'll probably be waiting a while before we get an actual Eggman boss.

But hey, at least it's no longer false advertising!

It'd be nice to see:

 

- Add Flying enemies that have to be destroyed with normal jump

 

- Add Eggman Boss Battle

 

- Add  a portal for a Casino themed environment 

 

- Add unique abilities for each character:

  

Sonic: the spin dash is much longer

Tails: jump lasts longer

Knux: can stomp against spike enemies

Amy: Boost meter fills faster but boost lasts shorter

Blaze: double jump

Shadow: slightly increase the time of every power up

Silver: same as Tails

Did you get the four phases of presents as well? Everyone had to get both their personal bars full as well as the whole community ones.

I can second the idea of flying enemies. Or even enemies that would make use of the homing attack. It's a minor peeve but I always found it sad you can't homing attack any enemy besides the Choppers. If nothing else throwing in Spinners or other flying Badniks over gaps would add some variety.

No the iOS version isn't bugged. The reason why Silver is locked with 65 red rings on your side because you didn't complete the global challenge. The ones that did, got Silver.

I have an iPad and have Silver, so yeah, can confirm it's not an iOS-specific issue.

I wouldn't doubt if there were glitches in the system since those tend to crop up from time to time (e.g. all of one's data being wiped due to not updating in the right order), but there's no iOS-wide issues that I can see.

Well, that's your problem then. The game makes it very clear that you don't get any prizes until both you and the rest of the game community have gathered enough presents. Nobody would be inclined to participate if you didn't have to make any contributions yourself.

Dang. I was hoping that updating the game would help it, but I still can't record high scores against my old high score. I've never been signed into facebook, but now it keeps asking me to do so to log my score into the game. What's the deal?

If my chat with HardLight is anything to go by, they're actually going to be looking into the Facebook issue shortly. I'm able to record highscores, but every time I start the game is automatically opens up my browser and takes me to Facebook to either request my permission or to tell me I've already given it permission. Rather annoying, and apparently a bug.

Sounds like a bug. You need Facebook only to view your FB friends' scores, not to submit scores of your own.

They already did. It's called Sonic Dash.

That's not to say I'd object to the idea massively or anything, but Dash would benefit from content that has an effect of the gameplay itself, rather than just looking different.

If you want to play as Silver so bad, there's a very easy glitch you can do by selecting an unlocked character but quickly swipe in the direction of the character you want to play as in that same frame, I was even just playing as Silver yesterday despite not finishing the global challenge.

Anyone else having issues connecting? I can't get my daily wheel spin or buying things with rings to work anymore, but the daily collecting puzzle pieces thing works... hmm... =/

Also I've found a camera glitch even on a sonic phone game! Make your character slam down at the end of a set of homing attacks. You'll drop faster than normal but it also causes the camera to stay in the high up position, NOT fun when you're at the start of a bunch of obstacles to dodge.

Also I forgot to mention this earlier, with the whole me being a dumbbot spending money on this game. Once you finish all the challenges + full boost meter your score multiplyer goes up to x40 just fyi.

Well I hope they fix that soon. Not being able to see or log in high scores does take a little bit of fun away from the game. I've already completed the missions, so other than high score logging, it is just me doing the puzzle challenge and collecting a few rings here and there, since I still need a lot of them to get all those power-ups maxed out.
