Sonic Generations : General Hacking Thread

I like this straight forward interactive menu. It reminds me a lot of Colours but now we are close up and we moving right & left.

Maybe(actually most likely) after we press on the stage we're going inside another hub menu will open with the acts to select, characters to talk and take on missions.

I like it that way. It's quick, straight forward, easy to navigate with very nice background(once you fill up the colors .

HD version of Japanese City Escape Trailer now available; well technically it's the American Trailer but with the Japanese version's audio, but hey, it's better quality than the one initially posted.

EDIT: YouTube messed up the frame rate for it for some reason; I'll try to make a fixed version.

Custom Skill could refer to the power-ups from Sonic 2006, maybe? Y'know, those gems Sonic shoved in his shoes in order to make tornadoes and slow down time? Also, I think the flipper and spring catapult refer to the Casino Night mini-game.

I like how they incorporated chord progressions and elements from Downtown Race into the modern City Escape music.

It feels odd listening to the modern remake if only because I've been having it's original iteration stuck in my head for 9 years. It's by no means bad though, certainly feels really organic.

I was on the verge of going "WTF?! This isn't City Escape!" until I heard the lyrics and the more familiar melody. Boy that is odd as hell, and no doubt someone is going to flip their shit over how much they changed the song instead of sticking to the original for Modern Sonic.
