Oh wow. Metroids are part of Medusa's army? Shit just got awesome.

They were enemies in level 3 of the first Kid Icarus too. In that game they're called Komayto.

Ocarina of Time first 3DS million seller

3DS by Wesley Yin-Poole

It's not all doom and gloom for Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has become the first 3DS game to break through the million sales barrier.

It sold 1.08 million units between its 16th June launch and the end of June.

It shifted 810,000 units in the West, and 270,000 units in Japan.

Nintendo this morning released an updated launch schedule for 3DS, Wii and DS games in Europe.

It confirms a previous rumour that Kid Icarus: Uprising will not launch in Europe until the first quarter of 2012.

God, as if Mega Man getting canned wasn't bad enough, this is getting delayed too. The 3DS is really off to a slow start with its good titles.

Good. Too much is coming at the end of this year and I don't have the money.

I don't see what's so good looking about this game.

In the Air it looks like Sin&Punishment which I personally didn't care for.

And the ground combat looks really clunky IMO. Using the slide pad to move, the stylus to aim, and I think the L button to shoot sounds really uncomfortable. It would be kinda hard to hold the system. Also I'm pretty sure Metroid Prime Hunters had a similar control scheme on the DS and that cramped my hands up big time.

I've heard that you need to adjust to it, from the press, but it's perfectly fine once you do. I'm expecting a great action game from this.

Even if this was true, (which I doubt it is) I will still stick with the 3DS version. It will come sooner and probably cost less.

So, remember that guy in the trailer? I played the game and found out a bit more about him. Don't read on if you don't want to know:

His name is Magnus. He's a human and maybe a bounty hunter. He says he's only fighting the lord of the tower(Gao, I think) for the pay. Palutena and Pit are both amazed at strong he is for a human

There was also a funny little scene with Pit that goes like this:

*You see a treasure chest*

Magnus: It's obviously a trap.

*To continue you have to open it*

Magnus: Are you stupid? It was obvious that would happen!

Pit: But it's a treasure chest! Whenever I see one, I just have to open it!

Magnus:... Great. Let's see how far we'll get here with that attitude.

The game itself was pretty good. The on ground controls take some getting used to, but in the air thwey're just fine, and I don't understand why I have a time during the on ground parts. In the air it was because of the wings. You get some more time for each enemy you kill, though.

The time limit is for the demo. Those ground levels take a pretty long time.

Yeah I watched some videos and the dialog was pretty funny. Some people might find it annoying, but I liked it. The ground stuff still looks iffy to me but hopefully with a little play time it becomes second nature. I'm getting it either way.
