Ok, I think I get how it works. Each teammate will probably get only one card. That'd explain why only 1 or 2 effects are lit at a time. (really hopes this hasn't been confirmed already)

With Roll and Dr. Wily cards it's almost inevitable that there's gonna be a Megaman card.

That Ghost Trick/Okami Alt is amazing! But I definitely see myself using the Larry Butz/Maggey Bryde and Gumshoe/Franzika alts more.Though I can't help but think that the Kay and Mia alts for Maya should switch places. tongue.png

All of Phoenix's colors are amazing but I'm probably going to use the Sissel one more than anything when I do play Wright.

Captain America

- Can double jump.

- Charging Star causes untechable knockdown.

- Charging Star causes horizontal knockback.

- M. and H. versions of Charging Star cause less damage.

- Opponent's untechable time after a Shield Slash has been decreased.

- L. Shield Slash can OTG.

- Added some invicibility time to his Backflip.

Deadpool

The only Marvel characters I really care about that are returning are Dr. Doom and Dormammu and they're mainly getting stronger.

They weren't even bad in the original game either. Good for me.

Also according to S-Kill's twitter, Chun-Li apparently has an OTG no one's found yet. Looks like she's finally going to be a more used character.

Also, Maximilian did a new special episode of Assist Me, which covers all the game's system changes and how it affects certain characters. It's really worth a look so you'll be prepared for how different UMvC3 is.

Possibly, but I have a hard time figuring whether or not I want to use his OTG assist or Quick Work. Quick Work would probably be the most effective tool for Wright to use since it means he'll be able to perform some unblockable setups and compensate for his seeming lack of real mix-ups, but Wright has no real viable OTG for extended combos since Maya can only be corner-combo'd and is otherwise used for spacing.

I speak this assuming I'm going to roll with Wright / Doom / ??? as Maximilian said that Doom is the perfect addition to a Wright team. Those hidden missiles are far too valuable, and Wright is mainly a point character.

That said, the above team might be a secondary team, as I'm still planning on continuing maining Spencer, and I have a hard time seeing any synergy between him and Wright at all. In terms of play style, they're polar opposites. This is quite a pickle for me.

Side series by Maximilian is going to go through significant change logs of older characters. This episode covers She-Hulk, Dormammu, Magneto, Hulk and Doctor Doom. New episode of Assist Me is going to go up later today, featuring Phoenix Wright.

You might be pleased (or terrified) to hear that Doom is not only getting buffs, but is also pretty much retaining all combos, tech and everything that made him good in Vanilla.

As an aside, it seems as the Frank West and Rocket Raccoon reveal might take place October 30. Link contains a sample from new Shinkiro art that shows the entire new cast.

Really enjoy the "Assist me!" series.

And i'll be damned if Phoenix Wright isn't possibly of the stronger characters, provided you can activate the "GIANT HAND OF DOOM" stance.

Activating it actually seems really easy. The positive evidence rate is rather high and you can pick up three pieces in a second due to cancellable animations, and you don't lose evidence when you use your Objection. After that, every combo he does is basically a touch of death combo. We haven't even seen anyone master his potential yet.

That said, while Wright has so many tools for the job, he seems to lack any good way of actually putting them into use due to his mobility, and also relatively below average normals. While his lack of power in normals is made up for the ease of accessing Turnabout Mode, they still have pretty bad range and sub par priority. He's gonna need some assists to get in.
