I just think that there are better ways to do it, and better directors than Bay to make it. I know it's a brain-dead summer flick, but does it need to be quite this bad?

I would actually like to see Bulkhead and Wheeljack butt heads with Mags, but considering Ratchet and Optimus would probably be on Magnus' side, I wouldn't be too surprised if it doesn't really go anywhere. Also good to see Predaking will return, hopefully he'll transform and talk, or maybe even kill someone. I wouldn't be surprised if Darkmount going all to shit makes Shockwave unleash Predaking on Megatron or something like that. I'd like a bit of classic Comic!Shockwave treachery thrown in after he was pretty much Soundwave-levels of loyal in Animated. But then again, the trailer where he can't control the new Preds hints otherwise.

 

Also, I read up on Grimwing's bio. He seems awfully fleshed out for a toy-only, and a lot like Dinobot to be honest. I can see where this is going, someone's gotta die a Dinobot/TFA Prowl death at some point, without it it just wouldn't be Transformers, would it? My money's on this guy. Or Arcee. But that would be really boring. >=P

They won't kill off Arcee since she's the only female. If they did, then people would chew the writers out and accuse them of being sexist. My money is on Bulkhead.

If they killed off Ratchet, Bulkhead or Wheeljack (Smokescreen and Magnus too, but there's no way they'd kill them off... right?) I'd actually be quite sad, which is a place to start I guess. Honestly I couldn't give a crap about what they do with Bumblebee and Arcee at this point, unless it involves making them less irritating.

Well... yeah. Arcee has never really been one of my favorite Transformers characters, but I've never intently disliked her until Prime. She's just... a whiny bitch, really. I can't really find any likable aspects to her personality beneath all the "MY PARTNERS ARE DEEEEEEEAD!" stuff. She kinda reminds me of Animated Prowl in a few ways, and I've always found him kinda... overrated. It may just be a pecking order of preferring the other characters that much, to be honest.

 

And Bumblebee (to me and to a surprising amount of the fanbase) is just awful. I just find him really obnoxious, the sounds he makes are just weird and considering he's the kid's favorite (most kids I've talked to prefer the likes of Ironhide, but I digress) there's so little they can do with him besides making him painfully kid-appeal. Blech.

 

Everyone else is brilliant though.

Yeah Prime is like, the ultimate fan's favourite so he's definitely not out for the count for too long, honestly didn't they only bring Prime back in Season 4 (G1-2) because everyone was kinda getting bored/sick of Rodimus? I'm guessing that's when the series took a nose dive and the creator's pretty much brought Prime back as the finale to bring the fans/money/interest back in?

I agree, Season 3 of Prime has been very good so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up in the 90 minute movie when that airs.

Sounds like a filler episode to me. Hopefully it's as good as This Is Why I Hate Machines.

 

I do wonder how Megatron's gonna set up this final ultimate threat for the series finale now that Darkmount is dust.

Nah, there's a scene in the trailer where Bumblebee and a blue Autobot who doesn't appear to have Arcee's proportions (and is way too short to be Ultra Magnus) are running and get caught in an explosion. It kind of looks like Smokescreen with swapped colors, white chest and all... I think

Well, Season 2 still turned out fine so I don't see a reason to worry other then possibly a stale plot concept.
