Just for Xfinity? That sucks... Sega needs to do something about this...

Sega can't do anything about that. That's entirely on the streaming company.

Sega owns the rights to Sonic Boom, and have every right to have a say in how poorly their property is being handled.

Once again, the streaming service is what provides the show. Sega can tell them all they want, but if they don't want it on there, they don't want it on there. Nothing can be done about.

I think he's talking about how badly Cartoon Network is treating the show

He's talking about the fact that his demand doesn't offer the show while SonicFlame's does. That has nothing to do with CN, but more so the streaming service.

Regardless of who is in charge of what, it is not right for a show to lose support on so many different providers, without a heads up on what's going on. Right now, Sonic Boom is the main reason I pay to have a TV provider, so not only does it suck that I am stuck with watching the show as it airs in bad quality, but now I no longer have a way of legally watching the episodes in HD. American TV is a big freaking rip off!... Why does this show have to be treated so poorly?! Why are there no good options for legally watching the show?! It's no wonder so many people want to pirate this show!

This is it. This is what it's come to. The pinnacle of Boom's maltreatment. This one post sums it all up.

Yes. Hoping for any sort of acknowledgement of Boom from CN now is a complete pipe dream.

I'm really pleased that Part 2 finally remembered that this version of Amy is supposed to have expanded combat skills.  A lot of people were really exciting when they saw her with ninja-like motions in Rise of Lyric, which, having not started as a Boom property, took itself more seriously, but even in the comedy-based cartoon, their official descriptor noted that Amy "knows martial arts to perfection"...yet in almost every fight scene she just slams the hammer down over her shoulder.  That's not what someone who's trained in melee combat should be doing; it's the sort of thing you'd expect from someone who previously never used a hammer for anything other than a tool.  It's nice that we finally get to see her kicking and swinging the hammer around in more agile ways.

I agree, It was really nice to finally see Amy be featured as the combat specialist, like her character description lead her on to be. It was fun to see her multitasking, while kicking robot butt. We saw her use both her hammer, and give out a strong kick, all while having a discussion with Sonic over her communicator. I liked how she was able to kick butt, while showing a lot of spunk, as she told Sonic the difference between turquoise and teal. Even when arguing with Sonic over a communicator, she was still able to focus on the enemies that were coming at her, while totally trashing them in the process.

I hope to see more of that from Amy in the series. mid season 2 has finally opened Amy up to be a stronger and more useful character, and it took long enough too. Season 2 gave her such a slow start, and it took half way through the season for her to finally get at least 2 episodes that put her in a leading role, and good ones,  at that. Too many season 1  episodes just didn't give her enough opportunities to stand out from the crowd, even season 1 episodes that were supposed to involve Amy as a key plot character, ended up barely including her in those episodes. Ever since Knine to Five Knuckles aired, Amy finally broke out of the mold of just being the girly member of the team, and finally stood up for her team, and struck fear into her enemies. I like seeing Amy get head strong, when she feels her friends are being threatened. I like seeing Amy stick up for her friends, especially when she strikes fear into the enemies who threatened her and her friends.

So Part 2 of RFTS got slightly higher ratings than Part 1: http://www.tssznews.com/2017/05/16/sonic-boom-tv-ratings-season-2-week-27/

Not sure of the ratings for part 1 tho...

Good, Part 2 was better than part 1, and deserved more viewings.

Just to let some of you know, I was at my parent's house earlier today, and it turns out Mediacom still has Sonic Boom on demand, including the last four episodes to air before Robots from the Sky Part 1 and Part 2 aired. The show is still absent from online on demand services though, which really is a bummer... I really want to be able to take HD screeshots from the show, but have no way of recording the episodes for my own personal viewing...

Once again, the Sonic Tumblr is the place to get our preview image fix. Here are some fresh-out-of-the-oven shots from "Robots from the Sky" Part Three:

"The fight to take back Morris Town against a new mysterious enemy begins. Catch part 3 of Robots from the Sky, a Sonic Boom special event, airing at 6pm on Boomerang!"

Sadly, the tags have gone back to being barebones: #Sonic Boom #Season 2

It's still not right to be paying a monthly fee that used to give us hd quality, only to take it away with no convenient alternative in watching it in hd.

If you're a guy like me, who loves to look through still frames for good or funny images, you'd know exactly why standard def is disappointing.

I thought part 3 was pretty good.

Major Spoiler alert! Sonic and Tails find out Hypnobot from the episode "Robot Battle Royale" was the one responsible for hypnotizing the robots. A lot of stuff happened, which lead to Hypnobot becoming a sentient thinking robot. He wants revenge on Tails and all living life forms, for abandoning him. Tails had a chance to stop Hypnobot, but couldn't go through with it, and it lead to Sonic getting his leg busted by the hypnotized robots of Morris Town. Sonic managed to kick Hypnobot off a cliff, which freed all the robots from their enslavement of Hypnobot's control.

Meanwhile, Eggman managed to find Hypnobot, and the episode ends, to be continued.

Well, that escalated quickly. "Robots from the Sky" Part Three was another great blend of humor, action, and a surprising reveal of the mastermind behind all this.

Spoiler

Honestly, color me surprised Hypno-bot actually survived what happened to him at the end of "Robot Battle Royale". And boy, the guy can sure hold a grudge. This really was all Tails' fault. Take better care of your robots, man.

I bet a lot of people were happy the villagers actually did something to help Team Sonic instead of hinder them.

Also, yup, Knux is still upset over the cliffhangers. Honestly, at this point, when Part Four ends, I expect him to say something along the lines of "Finally, a proper ending! Can we go back to the 11-minute episodes now?"

And then there was one. Looking forward to seeing how this all ends.

Meh, I wasn't impressed with the villagers in this episode at all. Their reason for fighting was very selfish and petty. Seriously, the only reason they fought, was out of anger of their stuff being broken, and not to protect the ones they care for? How heartless and selfish are they?! Not to mention how upon defeating the robots, they just leave the town like a mess, and won't help Amy and pals clean up to restore the town. Why should we be happy with the villagers again? Yeah, they did good, but they did it for all the wrong reasons, and in the end, they are still ungrateful, and expect Sonic's friends to clean up everything, the nerve of those villagers, LOL!

Funniest quote from tonight's episode

Sonic: (to Hypnobot) “Not Cool, dude.”
Hypnobot: “I lost all hope of being cool, when Tails built me in his image”
Tails: “Aw....”

The fact they did something good at all, even for petty and selfish reasons and with no skill, was enough cause of celebration. Og was doing it out of self defense, to protect those who befriended him after years of loneliness, or to prove his innocence despite his hideous appearance. Zooey may have done it out of the goodness of her heart (and the sake of Tails), and also self-defense. (Maybe Og has a transferring power like Wormmon, and was transferring positive energy to her to help her fight? He might have transferred negative energy to the Badniks to allow him to even scratch them.) We even saw LBS members fighting the enemy. This means maybe the villagers should grow a pair in the days to come or else they will pay the price. (Haven't seen Male Fennec in years, haven't we?)

I also noticed neither Perci nor Metal Sonic were seen in this fight. Maybe they're fighting on the other side of the Island?

Og was the only one I rooted for, because he was the only other one to try and protect the others, before Knuckles stepped in with a speech that inspired the villagers out of negativity. If Zooey really cared, then why didn't she help fight back, before Knuckles made a speech? Knuckles even flat out states to " fight back, not for your family, or friends, but because they took our stuff" The fact that those words were what inspired the village to help out, just made the villagers seem very uncaring, selfish, and unappreciative of all that Sonic and friends have to put up with. So Lady Walrus didn't fight back to protect her children, she fought back, because the robots destroyed her stuff? I don't know, that whole scene just felt wrong to me... It was kind of funny, but I'm getting sick of the writers constantly trying to make the villagers uncaring jerks. Shouldn't we be rooting for Sonic and pals to defend these guys, so why root for people that don't give a crap about Sonic and pals?  Not to mention how the villagers really didn't stop the robot onslaught, they got lucky in the end, since Hypnobot was defeated. We don't know how well the villagers actually fought back, because the show didn't focus enough on it. If Hypnobot never got defeated, the villagers would have tired out eventually, and realized they were outmatched.  It didn't take real long for Hypnobot to get defeated, and it fooled the villagers into thinking they scared the enemies off.
