Sonic Dream Team is a platforming action game developed by UK studio SEGA HARDlight for mobile devices. The game features Sonic and a number of his friends as they navigate a world inhabited by creatures manifested from Dr. Eggman's dreams of world domination.
The game is currently exclusive to the Apple Arcade service and is playable on a range of Apple devices: iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
Plot
The storyline to Sonic Dream Team centers on an ancient device called The Reverie, which has the power to manifest dreams into the real world. Naturally, Dr. Eggman has got his grubby little mitts on this mysterious object and has used it to realise a nightmarish world full of robotic monsters, environments and more. It's up to Sonic and his friends to tackle this new reality and save the day!
Characters
Sonic Dream Team includes six playable characters, all of which fit into three distinct "movement types" that suggest different methods of play.

- Knuckles the Echidna
- Amy Rose
- Cream the Rabbit
- Rouge the Bat
Stages
The game will feature 12 levels to play through, set across four distinct worlds. It is hinted that each stage will contain a number of gameplay gimmicks, from wall-running parkour to anti-gravity sections and more. Each world will feature a boss which will "test your skills across the different [character] movement types." [LINK]
