Wotter evolves into a samurai.

Hooray, yet another fighting starter. At least this sounds FUCKING AWESOME.

Hey, at least this means that the starter evolutions from before are definitely fake. Er, if that wasn't confirmed before. I'm barely keeping track anymore.

Cool stuff, though; it's nice to see some thought being put into the starters as a complete package. Not that Sun Wukong/Napoleon/World Turtle wasn't totally rockin' cool as a starter trio, mind, but I'm really interested to see how these guys shape up.

How is it confirmed as part fighting? Having a sword is fucking amazing but doesn't mean it'll be a fighting type, if anything I imagine we'll end up with a Water/Steel final evolution... again.

Although Water/ Fighting would be good since Poliwrath is so ass.

Gligar and its evolution.

Oh. I always seem to forget them xD

That's gonna be the first pure-Flying type, isn't it? If so, that is awesome.

According to Serebii, Arceus is pure flying.

According to Serebii, Arceus is pure flying.

That's only if it's Holding the Sky-Plate however, otherwise it's Default typing is Normal. So if this Information is true, then this is gonna be the First actual Pure Flying Type.

FUCK YES! I hate fighters, but love waters. Poliwrath is a fave of mine. It appears my favourite starter this gen just got better. That is, so long as the supposed final evo is fake.

SEREBII CONFIRMED.

UNTIL NEXT TIME, SEE YA.

Arceus doesn't count which makes this quite awesome indeed. It's about time.

Twelve legendaries? That's still more than I'd like, but considering that this is the biggest generation ever and Isshu is an entirely new region with its own legends, I guess it's a fair number. Besides, a lot of these type combinations are golden... a pure flying-type and the first-ever bug-type legendary? Awesome stuff.

Other Pokemon Information

* In total there are now 649 Pokemon (with formes and everything there sure are a lot more!). This generation has eclipsed the first generation in terms of the number of Pokemon - it has 156 brand new Pokemon! You think they would have added ONE MORE to make it 650, but alas. :P Melkor first revealed these numbers last week.

* There are two fossils - a turtle and a bird.

* There are a pair of Bug/Steel Pokemon (a spider and a bug with knight armor), a Grass/Steel Pokemon, and a Steel/Dark Pokemon (nicknamed “Power Ranger” because it resembles one).

* Seven Poison Pokemon are new. Three of them are #543/#544/#545 (Bug/Poison), a mushroom and his evo (unknown numbers), and a pure Poison type and his evo (unknown numbers). The pure Poison-type is described as “interesting to say the least.”

* There is a Grass/Steel Pokemon that looks like a metal ball with green spikes. When it evolves tentacles come out.

* A Grass/Poison mushroom Pokemon is also new.

* Seven new Ice-types are in the game - the Dragon/Ice Legendary, a polar bear and its evolution (which is described as “cute and fierce”), a three-stage line, and a standalone Ice-type.

* New types (of Pokemon that have not been revealed yet above) include Water/Ghost, Fire/Ghost, and Fighting/Dark.

* There are no evolutions or pre-evolutions of existing Pokemon in this generation, meaning Mamanbou is not Luvdisc’s evolution (tragic!). This is the first generation without any Pokemon ties to previous generations.

* There are no split-evolution Pokemon (like Gloom into Vileplume and Bellossom).

Game Information

* Dento’s Gym focuses on Grass, Fire, and Water.

* Aloe is a Normal-type Gym Leader.

* Other known Gym types are Bug, Ground, and Dragon.

* There are no Dark, Rock, Psychic, or Poison-type Gyms.

Holy tits, <3.

Wow those are some awesome typings, looks like we have a fighting type trio this time around as well. I'm not liking this many legendaries but at least were still getting 137 regular Pokemon.

Bug type legendary as well? Awesome.

I'm really excited to see what that centipede looks like, <3. That and/or a millipede are two bug Pokemon I've been aching to see, and now they finally have one. Sucks that once again, the fire starter is a fighting type though. I guess it doesn't matter since I'm going for Smugleaf, =3.

I hope that dog evo-chain isn't retarded. Sounds like an interesting pick from the get-go *assuming its on an early route*. However, I'm really dying to see the fossil Pogeymanz. Can pretty much see a giant sea turtle with insane HP, and some kickass archeopteryx for the bird. As for anything else, I will seriously die of too much awesome if one of those 7 ice Pokemon is an arctic wolf, 8D. *shot*

If this stuff's real, this is some major bullshit. A fire/fighting starter for the third generation in a row, and Luvdisc 2.0 isn't even related to Luvdisc? Come on.

Plus I'm kind of pissed that both Smugleaf and Wotter are single-type all the way through the line. I like multitype pokemon, and it'd be nice to have a multitype starter that isn't another goddamn fire/fighting.

I immediately believe the earlier rumor about Dark Void's accuracy being reduced to 50%. Game Freak are trolling us, I swear.

The rest of this stuff sounds pretty great, though. Lots of ice-types, cool fossils, a three-type gym and a fighting-type trio? WANT WANT WANT. I'm also a bit amused that the "American" setting has given us monsters based on samurai, judo, Shih Tzus and baku (again).
