It's fascinating to see Red just walk around that Gym, caught in a battle of two sides. The side of the trolls that wants us to talk to Lorelei and get wiped, and the Democrats who want Zapdos in the front.

Yeah, turns out Gen 1 AI is very wonky in ways we didn't consider were beneficial. And through luck (it has to be luck if we kept ATV alive until Lance) we won that battle. It was definitely one of the best moments of the stream.

Now that we're at this point, where we're most likely going to win sometime in the next few hours (and going after Mewtwo probably won't take too long), I wanted to share my vision for how to run Gold/Silver, since the streamer's said he'll move onto Gen II.

 

Picture this: Gold and Silver, running side-by side, taking the same inputs... but one of them doesn't use the anarchy/democracy meter, instead flipping to anarchy when the other one switches to democracy and vice-versa, so both games are always using opposite voting systems.
