Great episode overall. That's all I really I have right now. it was a... Dare I say... Fun episode?

Anyway, today's episode! I really enjoyed it, although I wonder...

what will happen to the Mirror Pond? Are they just going to leave it, or do something about it so another disaster like this happens again? It'd be cool if it played a part in a future episode or something...

This episode is a perfect example of "When in doubt... PINKIE PIE." After the lackluster season premiere, this episode got everything back on track and erased any doubts as to whether or not this show can still deliver. The fun has been doubled, people. Er, tripled. Er... well, you know.

The only negative I can say about this episode was the whole thing with Spike just happening to find just the right book behind a hidden door. Kinda DUES EX MACHINA, dontchathink?

Also, loving all the Applejack love we're getting early on, as well as the reappearance of some of the lesser seen Apple family. Hopefully a sign of things to come. (COME ON APPLEJACK SONG!!!)

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS:

* Fabulous Rarity and that oufit/mane. YES.

* DARING DO!!!

* Pinkie's quiet dive into the water.

* FANCYPANTS.

* Watch the part when the Pinkies knock the barn over. One is doing a little dance in the window. I damn near lost it.

* Fluttershy being Fluttershy.

Huh. Didn't see that one coming. New villain, anyone?

Episode thoughts:

Wow I loved this one. Made me laugh and smile like nobody's business. After the disappointing premiere, this episode instantly brought my hopes back up. The animation was great, the writing and jokes were great, the plot was just the right kind of ridiculous, and Pinkie was all kinds of adorable.

]what will happen to the Mirror Pond? Are they just going to leave it, or do something about it so another disaster like this happens again? It'd be cool if it played a part in a future episode or something...

They end up blocking the entrance with Tom at the end. He now has finally found his true destiny as protector of a great danger.

loool that episode was pretty funny.

I was actually expecting them to do MORE with the premise but I guess there's only like 20 minutes. I lost my shit at Rarity's dark cloak early on and there were a few good cameos, so I'm impressed. It's brief, but that's all I can say, other than I was slightly disappointed that the other Pinkies mostly just went around going "funfunfunfun".

Even though they blocked it, I wouldn't mind seeing the mirror pond again. What I would like to see is the magic of the pond being altered or be on the fritz that when somepony use it generates a gender-bended version of them, esp. when the Mane cast is involved.

Even though I prefer alternate worlds or just straight up someone magically turning into a colt, this could be an option as well.Heck, if a villain were to use it for a purpose like this, it'll be like the Rowdy Ruff Boys all over again (or just create evil clones of the Manes would be the most obvious route).

Just finished watching Too Many Pinkie Pies, and I loved it. I thought the humor was great from start to finish. Lots of great jokes, I loved the part where Pinkie jumps into the water quietly for Rainbow Dash. :P

Not gonna lie, I got a little teary eyed to see Pinkie's sadness about not knowing if she'd pass the test or if she was the real Pinkie. Such emotion!
