Sorry but how the hell does London look anything like Spagonia's Rooftop Run ? Spagonia was cleary based on Italy mainly Siena not London.

Spagonia carries many elements of a few European locations, mostly Spain due to its reddish color and buildings. The clock tower, on the other hand, closely resembles London's Big Ben.

Derp, silly Cero

Though the stage did at least have some kind of inspiration from London due to the clock tower, really you could probably say that there's some inspiration from some other european countries as well

I already said im sorry for the offensive 360 comment. but at least i said im sorry and told you why im bitter towords the 360.

So i will yet again say I am sorry, ok.

I have a PS3 and I found that dumb. You inconsiderate jerk. Try to look at other people's opinions and feelings before you shit out yours.

Why are you apologizing? If people get offended, who gives a shit? You're not breaking any rules by expressing your dislike of the 360. They might think you're a douche, but don't apologize for that shit. Stand behind your opinions.

I'd like to see some things in this game:

multiple epic remixed alternate themes for each level from past sonic games

Green Hill: Green Forest, Frog Forest, , Can You Feel the Sunshine, Palm tree Panic etc...

Chemical Plant: Starlight Zone, Metal Harbour etc...

Sky Sanctuary: Lost World, Angel Island etc...

Speed Highway: Radical Highway, Power Plant, etc...

City Escape: Empire City etc...

Seaside Hill: Emerald Coast, Windy Valley, Abadat, etc...

Crisis City: Lava Reef, Red Mountai, etc...

Spogonia: ...

Planet Wisp: ...

for each level I'd like to see some glimps of other left out stages:

Green Hill: a bit of Emerald Hill

Chemical Plant: a bit of Hidrocity

Sky Sanctuary: Lost world, Angel Island

Speed Highway: Radical Highway

City Escape: ...

Seaside Hill: some Abadat, Emerald coast (with WHALE), beautiful seaside portions with surfing

Crisi City: Lava reef, volcano portions

Spogonia:...

Planet Wisp:...

then DLC:

Classic Pack: Ice Cap, Quartz Quadrant

Dreamcast Pack: Twinkle Park, Final Rush

Modern Pack: Rail Canyon, Mazuri

- Fully playables characters in stage like Blaze, Metal Sonic, Knuckles, Tails and Shadow

- Chao Garden

- Eggman side missions with his Egg Walker

I'd like to say that Rooftop Run has a very high chance at getting a new trailer during Summer of Sonic

I mean think about it

E3 took place in Los Angeles, and we got a City Escape trailer which was based on LA

Summer of Sonic will take place in London, and Rooftop Run was based on London

It makes complete sense

Hypergogeta

Seriously, stop with the spammy posts. I've already deleted 23 of yours from this topic alone (now on to a third fourth one). Please review the rules of this forum and post with more effort, next time I have to delete a post of yours it's going to come with a strike.

Also quit with the console talk, it's irrelevant to the topic.

Alright, im done with it. So has anyone found anything about other classic characters in generations?

It would be sad if we didnt see classic tails or knuckles.

Oh and i just thought of it, but maybe the werehog stuff means he will be in the game, but just for the Egg Dragon boss battle. I guess it would make since the werehog fought him in Unleashed so i was a little late in thinking of that, someone else probably mentiond it alread. Guess i was distracted by all the other leaks at the time.

It's probably be done before, but I have made a playlist of all the levels and bosses we'll be seeing in the game. Check it out!

Watching it all the way through, I'm mostly satisfied, but I really hope they play up each level's individuality to separate it from the mold. For example, make Speed Highway really feel like a highway stage with a city backdrop, but not a stage set within the city itself. Also, it's been shown that levels lead into each other with certain missions, perhaps this level will lead into City Escape with a mission that has Sonic running down the building, in that epic scene from the original level, down to the bottom to the end? Perhaps that would unlock City Escape. "At Dawn" was a great little tune though, maybe they'll use it for cutscenes in the level, or a mission or something, but I agree with Indigo that, while it probably will be anyway, that segment should be canned for City Escape.

Likewise, other levels should get a similar treatment. Chemical Plant should really play up the fact that it's a chemical waste facility, and Crisis City should add plenty of lava-level elements to make it feel unique in its own right. Seaside Hill already has the right idea, focusing more on the ruins and water aspects of the stage to set it apart from Green Hill.

Also, the bosses look great to me; I DID assume a bit with "Death Egg" actually being the boss of that level, but really, it's an epic showdown that I'd love to see return as representation for the Classic era. Also... I just noticed remembered that Perfect Chaos trashes the city where Speed Highway (and possibly City Escape) takes place. Also, based on the signs (Next Exit Central City, Chao Garden, etc), it could be a ruined version of City Escape. Plus, the truck does its fair share of damage... damn, the city gets abused. I hope that gets referenced in the game.

*Sonic, upon arriving in Crisis City* "Aw come on! We JUST saved the city from Chaos... (turning to the player) again, mind you...(turns back) and it's up in smoke?! What the heck, there's even a tornado... made of FIRE. Man, someone's really gotta grudge against this place...."

Stuff like that would be epic, and actually make sense for having these city levels in the game.

But in the end, what do YOU guys think of the playlist, and how do you think Sonic Team should approach the development of these levels/bosses?

So yeah, basically the stage selections are relevant to the bosses. Death Egg is right after Sky Sanctuary, Speed Highway is designed like the same area that Perfect Chaos attacked at, and Silver lives in the alternate universe in which Crisis City exists. It only makes sense when you think of it like that.

I'm sorry, I don't. All I see is that the presence of civilization irks you somehow. A huge amount is missing, I can agree to an extent, though... but you have to stuff in 20 years into one game, and all Sonic games on the HD consoles boast no more than 9 levels.

Hey since there are to much city levels already that means casino night is out since it has a city in the background even though there is a distinguishing characteristic such pinball and casino games or LAVA!

Why are we suddenly responding to a bit someone said during the mist of insane bickering and flamewars? Please, I don't want to bring this topic back up into that again.

Im Sorry if I offended you and im sorry to the others i offended as well, I will Keep the dislike for the system to myself from now on.

It's funny though that i offended people by making fun of a system. At least i consider it a system, I know people who would say way more offensive things about it then what i said. I went to a college that was almost all 360 fans and when they werent talking about how much better it is then the other system, or talking about 360 games they were talking about how shity the other systems are, so i guess dealing with that for 2 years left me a little bitter. So again I am sorry.

Dude you called it a dumb downed computer I don't even own a 360 and i find that offensive not only to the people who own and love one but the people who spent a lot of time to make thier masterpiece. All I'm saying is that your getting a little harsh.

Kinect on the other hand......

Hey dude, I made the post with the playlist to hopefully jumpstart the topic, and get rid of the bad taste all that senseless bitching undoubtedly left in our mouths. Can we PLEASE keep it cool? I ain't trying to backseat mod, do what you want, I'm just trying to ask.

Remember, I'm assuming with the boss choice for what "Death Egg" is, it could very well be something different :P And based on the revelation that "boss keys" will be part of missions from each of the levels, I'm guessing the bosses will be set apart for each era. For example, get 3 boss keys from the Classic era, and you fight Modern Sonic, while netting all 6 unlocks the Death Egg battle, and this might apply to the other bosses as well. That's my guess anyhow, but this way, the bosses wouldn't be tied in to any particular level, giving them room to represent a possible level that was left out simply with their own appearance in the game. Again though, that's just my guess; it's all a total shot in the dark.

That could be the case, but I'm just not sure, myself. It sounds very possible for Metal Sonic to be the boss in Chemical Plant Zone, among things like that. Although I'm not too sure where Shadow or Egg Dragoon would fit, so maybe you're right.

Eh, we'll see when we get there.

Here's an idea for improving Speed Highway: tie in other Station Square stages.

Keep the most iconic sections of the stage, but why not have Speed Highway take us through Twinkle Park and Casinopolis? Speed Highway could be the main base for the level, but it could also be the glue that ties these different locations together.

It could work something like this:

>Highways in the sky

>Skyscraper running

>Grab helicopter

>Drop off in Twinkle Park

>Run through Twinkle Park

>Steal bumper car

>Ride bumper car through more highways in the sky

>More building running

>Grab rocket to Casinopolis

>Pinball

>Dilapidated Way

>At Dawn segment

All of this while being chased by increasing numbers of Cop Speeders. Maybe its just me, but THIS would make me want Speed Highway in this game.

In the video, I noticed that one of the options on the menu looked like you could toggle Omochao, or a "control tutorial". Will Omochao return to give you tips, rather than the hint rings?

If that's the case, I can't wait 'til Crisis City.

Omochao: "Be careful! That tornado's carrying a-"

*Omochao gets hit by the car*
