It's fake. There's not even a character list on either the English or Japanese websites. Anywhere. I've just decompiled both, and there's absolutely nothing there.

Also lol no Zangief. He's been a playable character in every single last Marvel/Capcom crossover up until now alongside the veteran fighters Ryu, Chun-Li, and Wolverine. There's no way he's not showing up this time around. (lol inb4 Grand Awesomesocks Bet)

Because the people playing keep trying to projectile spam, and I bet he can't fly/unfly for hilarious looking combos anymore.

The lack of Strider makes me a sad bat guy.

Man, I'm missing my entire team. No Jin, Captain Commando, or War Machine. (Edit: oh wait, "ironalt_war" is War Machine) Dante basically looks like the new Strider, though.

I hope the list's fake. I'm happy to see Joe there but from the existence of "Viewtiful!" in that video I'd say he's a shoe in anyway.

That list has too many characters from Tatsunoko VS Capcom's Capcom side. Volnutt, Roll and Zero? I doubt they'd copy that exact MegaMan roster again, unless it was Zero Zero.

Also there are too many characters from certain games, and not a big enough variation of franchise reps imo. Chris AND Wesker? What about all the other RE guys? Leon? (Ashley? ;_; )

Also where the fuck is Phoenix. FUCK.

So yeah I'm glad that it's fake.

I like Ashley too though my girlfriend (who's a huge Resident Evil fan) hates her guts and commonly when messing around blows her brains out in RE4. I actually thought she was a good character and one of the better if not best escorting characters in gaming, Resident Evil 4 had actually a really neat escorting system so it never really bothered me.

And yes, Leon is my fave too and I hope to god they put him in. As I said, there are some others I want, but Leon better be in. D=< I think they could satisfy most Resident Evil fans if they had Chris, Jill, Leon, and Wesker but likely it'll be two at most which worries me but I'll keep up hope, the Resident Evil series is rather popular right now...

Yeah, I'm hoping that Leon is in it too, also with Jill. Though I'm definitely playing as Dante when I get my hands on the game because of that vid. I'm hoping for other MVC series veterans like Jin, Hayate, Strider, B.B Hood, Servbot, and Captain Commando to make a comeback as well.

There's only one thing I need to say...

Needs more Darkstalkers.

John Talbain/Gallon, Lord Raptor, and Victor should pop up because they're pretty bad assed and Demiti is the only Darkstalkers guy to pop up in MvC. If not all the female Darkstalkers appeared in every Vs Capcom game. Not that I'm complaining.

Also Leon and Wesker might as awell appear since we need more Resident Evilness.

Also, the gameplay looks a lot smoother compared to a lot of fighting games...or my eyes might just be making it look that way.

How would 4 players work? There are 6 characters in a match and if there is 4 players, how would the other 2 be controlled?

Also, is it just me or does Iron Man look like a really bad character in this. His range is nice but a lot of his attacks have a horrible lag time and some leave him vunerable for about a second after he attacks, which for a game as quick paced as this, is a long time. None of his attacks seem to be highly damaging compared to some characters either. I'm don't even play fighting games competetively and I was able to notice this oddly.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet or not, but who will everyone be maining once this game comes out. From what we've seen so far I'll probably pick Dante due to the fact that he doesn't look like such a bad character and I like the devil may cry series. I am also thinking of using Deadpool because, despite the fact that I haven't read the comics, I have seen parts of them from around the internet and he seems like a rather likeable character. As for my third slot, I'll probably use one of the Megaman series representatives if one does get in. If the TvC Megaman characters get in I'll probably use Zero or Volnutt, however if classic Megaman gets in I'll use him instead due to that incarnation of Megaman being my favourite one, I was also decent as him in MvC2.
