I for one hope next week is indeed a bonding episode, not just between Ryuko and Satsuki, but all of the characters. I wanna see how Satsuki mingles with the makanshou's, I wanna Aikuro try his shit on Satsuki, and Gamagoori freaking the fuck up.

At the 8 second mark, didn't Ryuuko (her name does have 2 u's in it right? If so, I've been spelling it wrong all this time...lol) essentially give Nui both halves of the scissor blade by throwing it towards and through her like that? Isn't that a bad thing?

 

Also, this scene is just too awesome. Watched it about 15 times now.

Her name is Ryūko (流子). However this is often spelled as "Ryuuko" because it's easier. "Ryuko" is false.

It puts a certain tone on the letter, not neccesarily longer. For example: Tōka = Touka.

How exactly can it be false? If you want to go there, anything less than 流子 is false.

 

Because Ryūko is the romanization, and Ryuuko is the pronunciation. Ryuko is neither.

Keep in mind that it's a Japanese name, not an English one.
