The Casino Night DLC Stage in Sonic Generations. It seems DLC stages fill up empty spots on the map, as the Casino Night Pinball Table goes to an empty area next to the Death Egg Robot boss.

That looks FUN.

It looks like there's a little more to the pinball mini-game than what we saw; notice the Chaos Emerald lights on the table? Methinks you have to do something to unlock them to get some really awesome bonus points.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a "change music" option for this level. No biggie, since this game supports alternate soundtracks for both 360 and PS3, I'll load up my thumb-drive with the original Casino Night music (the 2P version as well), Casino Park, Toxic Caves, Spring Yard, Blue Star, Starlight Carnival, Balloon Park, Casino Paradise, Collision Chaos (both US and JP), BINGO Highway and, when it comes out, the 3DS versions of Casino Night (if different) for good measure. Gonna get all bouncy casino in this game, yo!

Oh, and I see the Big the Cat neon sign! biggrin.png

EDIT:

Are there stone inserts like that in the hub world for each era? If so, we could be getting a mini-game for each era as DLC. I wonder if we'll get a Sky Chase mini-game for the Adventure era if this is true.

Looks like that's a no... D:

He's just saying that there are no stone inserts for every era, but there wasn't one in the Genesis era to start with, it appears once the DLC is added, so there is still a chance.

Apparently you hold Back for a few seconds while in the collection room to get there.

That actually looks pretty fun. Of course the last pinball minigame I played was Duke Nukem Forever's and that was complete shit, so my expectations for this sort of thing might be a little lower than normal.

What the heck is this, I'm trying this as we speak, it's not working.

Maybe this actually has to do with online play? Trophies as in for some sort of online competition achievements? I dunno, that's a strange thing, there. Looks really interesting though.

"Statue Room" and the password prompt were both in the leaked assets (further updated in demo 2 when it came out), but since no one's said anything about them, I thought they were cut.

I have no idea about it, especially if they made it that elusive to get to. I hope it ends up being something worth while.

Hey, there's six options in the password...wonder if relevant dates relating to Sonic history could be potential passwords...? This is really interesting, the room is huge, also.

Oh yeah, and just a little minor spoiler, but if you talk to Tails after S-ranking a stage (or at least, I S-ranked Green Hill then talked to Modern Tails) and he mentions how fast an S-rank is, and how he bets his mecha (presumably his SA2 mech) couldn't keep up with that!

Loving this game, but now it's time to get back to school work... :F

Hold down the SELECT button on the PS3 or BACK button on the 360 controller whenever you're in the collection room, and Sonic drops down a hole into the statue room. The password is a numerical key that looks like [000 000]. No idea what exactly the passwords unlock...

Also...

Dreams of an Absolution and E.G.G.M.A.N. are remixed, both on the hub, and E.G.G.M.A.N. can be heard in the mirror room in the cutscene before Death Egg Robot, but I'm sure you heard it already by now.

Time for a team effort. We should unlock it by assigning a person a certain block of numbers (ie one person does 000 000 to 000 100, another does 000 101 to 000 200 etc). We should get it done in just a few months that way!

Pretty sure the password would be different for each game. Wouldn't be suprised if you earn the password for getting all the Red Rings...
