LIEZ!!! Chimera on Retro saw this on one of the playthroughs....... Sonic you are one major bullshitter XD

He's not wrong, though, mate. While he did not fight the Biolizard when it didn't have the Eclipse Cannon up its wazoo, he still fought the beast along with Shadow in their super forms.

It doesn't matter anyway I wasn't being serious in my post but none of you could tell lul.

This is like arguing on Classic vs Modern, Sonic did fight him, although differently. Not to mention Sonic and Shadow played exactly the same. It might has well have been Sonic fighting him in SA2, and the fact that they're the same exact monster, Biolizard = FinalHazard.

Thanks for taking my post very seriously I wasn't being serious ;D

But yeah, If Nintendo does plan to use DLC for the 3DS, what stages would people want on the handheld side?

Hmmmm...

Sky High

Sleeping Egg

Fang Boss

Egg Rocket

Music Plant

Route 99

Emerl Boss

Gemerl Boss

Sky Babylon

Blaze Boss

Nega Mother Wisp Boss

Those were my original ideas toward the 3DS game, and I'd love to see many of these as DLC. (And actually Some of these ideas can work as console DLC but... I'll keep it this simple even though I have a few DLC ideas for the console, this is the 3DS chat after all.)

Music Plant!!! For me, that's one of the best level themes in the entire series and it needs some love.

I'd love to see at least two DLC packs filled with an "era" that covers over all three areas, whilst adding in a boss and rival

Pack 1:

Sunset Park (Triple Trouble)

EGG Rocket (Advance)

Dead Line (Rush)

Rival: Fang in Sunset Park

Boss: Egg Wizard (Rush Adventure)

Pack 2:

Sky High (Sonic 2 GG)

Music Plant (Advance 2)

Pirate's Island (Rush Adventure)

Rival: Johnny in Pirate's Island

Boss: Ultimate Gemerl (Advance 3)

I'd like Emerl to have some sort of minor reappearance. Isn't his only connection to Sonic's world today on Sonic Channel?

Actually he got a suit in Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, so he is relavant (though they may have just made suits for everyone who has a Sonic Channel icon) ironically he's even more relevant than his should be living/active counterpart Gemerl

He would make a pretty interesting boss though, just imagine several of his moves from the final boss mapped onto a Sonic vs. Blaze style boss fight. Actually I'd love to see him as a boss if they give us more through DLC

He would be an amazing boss fight if built in a Sonic vs. Blaze style boss fight. I'd love to see him cheat with that combo card thing. xD

I only read up to page 59, but it seems none of you talked about the online multiplayer after the games release (srry if I missed it).

For me, I think it's pretty good. In terms of points, I'm in about 3rd-4th place with about 5600. The "black holes" annoyed me at first, but then you know where they are so that you can use them to your advantage. The only thing I don't like is how you can choose the special stages. I just want to race people in a actual level, but that's just my opinion. Anyways, how does everyone else feel about it?

You guys honestly think they would actually put in enough effort to make feasible DLC for this game? >.>

Hey! It's a good thing to hope for. .w.

The special stages are quite bad to be honest, in multiplayer at least. It's like: Whoever presses the boost button first wins, because there is nearly no way to catch up because there are no different paths you can/can't get.

I think the multiplayer as a whole is quite fun, but its also kind of demotivating because of the points. I like the idea with the points, but if you are like, I dunno, 5th or so and you come back a few hours later and you are like 124th... Meh.

Sonic Team has already given us DLC in Sonic Unleashed, which had significantly less positive reception than this game.

Also Sonic Generations The Real One clearly had effort and passion put into it, unlike this piece of shit.

Honestly, the console version has enough effort put into it.

While his criticisms can come off as...excessive at times, He has the right to speak his opinion on a game he doesn't like, as long as he doesn't try to force other people into thinking the same, or parroting his beliefs.

Because I love Sonic Generations. It's given me the most fun I've ever had in a Sonic game. It's clearly had a lot of passion and effort to put into it, and the amount of fanservice makes it feel like it's a personal love letter to me telling me how much Sonic Team regrets what they've done, and how they want to make things right.

This game bears the same name and is the exact opposite. It looks incredibly dull, lazy, and rushed. I'm honestly insulted that SEGA felt it okay to put this on store shelves and expect me to buy it.

Do you think it's worse than Heroes?

It's not that bad, no. Definitely worse than Sonic Adventure 2 though (which I consider to be one of "the big bads" along with 06, Shadow, and Heroes).

I sure don't. It's not as broken, It gives you a non-broken Egg Emperor to fight and makes Heroes special stages actually playable.

Thank you for replying :)

To me it looks really fun, most of the levels have a good balance between platforming and speed (even with Modern Sonic. I.E. Radical Highway) it has 100 unlockable challanges, it lacks most of Sonic's annoying friends like Amy and Charmy and it also has online multiplayer. The only bad sides IMO are that the levels and the story are too short, no SuperSonics in regular stages and that Classic TP doesn't have a remix.

One of the best Sonic games released in years. I'd say even better than some of the 3D Sonic games such as Heroes, Shadow, Secret Rings and probably Unleashed (I didn't mention 06 because ANYTHING is better than 06). But that's my opinion of course.

Are we comparing 3DS to Heroes? Because I have a long passage on standby on why Heroes is an infinitely better game than 3DS Generations in every way besides the special stages and bosses.....and story...but screw that, im talking strict gameplay and level design.
