The English voice of Sonic the Hedgehog in the Sonic Adventure video games, Ryan Drummond, has said that he has yet to be called up to work on the upcoming Sonic X animated series.
In an interview with Sonic CulT, Drummond was asked "have you been requested or approached by anyone about doing Sonic's voice for Sonic X when it comes to America and Europe" - to which he replied, "Unfortunately, no. I'm hoping that will happen soon, however!"
Sonic X is due to premiere on US television later this year, and it hasn't been long since the dubbing rights were signed over to 4Kids Entertainment, so it is possible that Drummond could still perform as the blue blur. We also don't know how long ago this interview was conducted, so it could be the case that he has since been approached by 4Kids or SEGA. Time will tell.
