Just to be clear, although they may submit the update to Apple on the 15th that doesn't mean it will become available that day. Apple's approval process for apps and app updates is a little...strange. It can take as little as a few days to as many as several weeks for an app or update to be approved.

I have not got the game but wanted to post two interesting hidden areas Glem3 (GameFAQS, Retro) found.

HOLY CRAP. Just found another awesome secret! In SHZ act 2, there was a tiny hill upward with a waterfall in the background. Wondering where the water was coming from, I did a spindash and used the momentum to make a huge jump upward, and I found a secret area with invincibility and speed shoes. It was awesome.

Holy crap ANOTHER secret. This one is really cool, from casino street zone act 2. I was just jumping around, and I jumped through a secret wall that lead to a whole new portion of the level I didn't know existed.

Wow! O_O So,

there's more to iPhone Casino Street Zone Act 2?

:o

Apparently, that's surprising to me too. Can someone go looking to find the breakable wall since the stage seems disappointing but if there's a secret area no one new about until now...?

Okay, so I beat the boss and accidentally skipped the credits by touching the screen. ;__;

Are they the same as the credits that play when you pick them from the options menu? From what I saw, I doubt it.

This might come off as a rather strange (if not stupid) question, but, do you guys think the 1500 Wii Points is for every country worldwide or might there be differences? Other than that, have the prices been officially confirmed by now and I just missed something?

I must admit, I haven´t been completely up to date with everything surrounding Sonic 4! ^^´

Thanks for the Information jennytablina! :)

About the question: I do Splash Hill on a constant basis, lol. Especially Act 3 gets a lot of replays from me, awesome act! :D Other than that Lost labyrinth Zone Act 1 and Mad Gear Act 1 get played a lot aswell here. Seems like the game is actually a pretty good composition with nice flavours that make you come back to taste some more! *Goes and gets some IceCream*

Yah, I'm replaying Zones a lot too, especially Splash Hill 1 and 3 (I'd play 2 more often but I still get confused in the swinging vine sections, I think these sections will be better on the consoles due to the higher visible area on the screen though) and Mad Gear 1. I've a soft spot for replayable games - they're mainly the only kinds of games I buy, ones I feel I'll play again - either a complete replay months down the line or frequent reruns of each level - in fact it's the thing which draws me to Sonic more than any other series - the thrill of replaying a level faster and faster and getting to know it etc., I replayed the Sonic levels in Sonic Adventure 2 for years (until I no longer had a system which had it) and I still play Sonic Adventure (due to the recent PSN/XBLA release) and Sonic Unleashed now. So yeah, I'm glad this one has proved to also be nicely replayable and includes a stage select so I don't have to start it from scratch every time (unless I cheat) Sonic 2 style.

By the way, about uncurling - just my opinion, but I actually really like it, I think it's a really cute little animation he does, and I've yet to run into a situation where it's been an issue, you just homing attack from there if you see an enemy or whatever. I'll actually be a little disappointed if they take it out for Ep 2, I think it looks really cool and there's something more satisfying about it than just watching this ball fly through the air.

Someone let me know when the music's been ripped or something. The existing one from the leaked beta is chocked with audio errors.

Also, while I'm not a really great fan of this game's soundtrack (blah blah Jun Senoue blah), it does have a couple of shining tunes.

Quick question, actually-

If you pick 'new game', does it delete your old one? Can you have multiple save files, or does it at least give you a warning?

I'm just terrified I'll accidentally delete all my effort. D:

So just got the Wii version and my first comment...

Holt fuck they completely changed the music!

Seriously, they did for the Wii version (and likely) console version at least, it now sounds much more like a Genesis game than the PartnerNET leak. This makes me very happy.

We'll find out tomorrow, but it seems like it was just for the Wii version. The CSZ2 video had different music, even in the level and map.

Some people think that the music was changed just for the Wii version to because apparently WiiWare titles have a size limit?

Wait, so if they changed every single track, that means...

OH NO MY PRECIOUS MAD GEAR ZONE ACT 1 ;_;

Only the Wii version seemingly. Go get yourself a 360 or PS3 if you don't have one.

So is the Wii version just lower-quality sound, or actually different tunes?

I'll be getting the 360 version on Wednesday, either way.

I'm not buying a 360/PS3 for the sake of one track.

Even if it is Mad Gear Act 1.

Anyway inb4 THIS IS SONIC CD ALL OVER AGAIN
