May is bland as fuck. My least favorite Pokemon player character. If anything, she should be replaced rather than Kris. Brendan has that spice that no other poke-protag has (the hat-hair)

I dunno, I think the Safari game is pretty fun, but the "put food in the middle or you get shitty Pokemon" kinda made it a hassle. There should be a choice to catch the Safari Pokemon traditionally. I haven't played a Gen past 4 yet so forgive me if I'm not caught up.

Oh yeah. Ever since Platinum Pokemon hasn't had casinos. Hell the casino from G/S/C was changed completely in HG/SS into some kind of Poké minefield thing. Stupid soccer moms...

In terms of post-game, I feel Black 2/White 2 had the most substantial of things to, well, do. Couple that with HGSS (but it's pretty apparent what its post-game is), followed by Emerald. 

 

X & Y absolutely, positively sucked when it came to that; and I think it shuffled more on the metagame than anything.

 

And Japan still got the slot machine Game Corners in HGSS...lucky.
