Just when I was thinking it was a little too straightfoward of a level, Sonic takes control of a giant mech ball.

Though it's cute the way Sonic slides down a wall when he loses momentum.

So once Drill power is up, it's back to the surface for Sonic. Hmm... Maybe some where in the game, there is a level where Sonic is deep in the water and can move around, but need to keep using the Drill wisp to stay alive, or he drowns?

 

Overall, still liked what I seen of Tropical Coast and was quite satisfied. REALLY loved all that parkour Sonic was doing (when he kept moving from one wall to the other in a straight line, if I recall correctly/if that makes any sense at all.)

Sonic just popped back up to the surface. I was wondering why in the world he was letting his energy run so low without trying to resurface.
