Oh god, you reminded me, this game has ice physics. They seem tame here, so I'll probably be fine, I guess. It's a given to slow down for precise platforming sections. It's holding the run button during the Cheap Cheep bridge in SMB, it's common sense to do so.

If you think your not a big fan of holding the L & R, unlock Super Sonic, hes probably gonna break the Speed Up & Parkour Skills completely. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-D6OAoRgNwM

Go to like 1:50, look at the environment Ivory Lightning is in, Tropical Coast for sure & damn it looks expansive. The red construction things remind me of that grind rail segment in that one SLW Trailer. Hopefully that shows up =P

Well, I mean they can just take those part of the Wii U version, and the rest of the level is different.

Lol yea I get what you mean =)

I'm okay with using a button to speed up. I love SMB's run button concept, and I welcome it to the Sonic series. I think he meant that the 3DS version should have levels that are just as big as Tropical Coast 1(?).

If they could get this into the 3DS version, but instead use Ivory Lightning to short circuit badniks & cause large electric discharges I would cry so hard, this 3D swimming is fucking beautiful. Tropical Coast 3DS so far has Red Burst, Ivory Lightning (Saw it in the TGS Trailer), & im assuming Yellow Drill.

Yea, Im gonna assume thats Tropical Coast 1 also.

At the ending part of the GIF, that can easily be work in the 3DS version, they just need to get rid of the water at the side.

Using the gyroscope for Magenta Rhythm would fucking murder the 3DS' hinges, so Rhythm probably won't be on the 3DS version. *sigh*

That's what I wanna see in this version if 360 rotating main parts of stages don't make it. The level design in the 3D stages shown so far looks really fun, but that Tropical Coast stage is jaw dropping and gorgeous.

Nah lol, I really wanted the Crimson Eagle in the 3DS version but, damn the Camera. Im interested in Grey Quake though, it looks like it has 2 forms if you look at the trailer. One for rolling around & 1 for quaking. Also the wisps for each version have been revealed pretty much:

3DS                   Wii U

Cyan Laser        Cyan Laser

Yellow Drill         Yellow Drill

Indigo Astroid     Indigo Astroid

Red Burst           Crimson Eagle

Ivory Lightning    Magenta Rhythm

Grey Quake        Orange Rocket

                            Black Bomb

(1st half of the game)

Windy Hill

Desert Ruins

Silent Forest

(2nd half of the game)

Frozen Factory

Tropical Coast

Sky Road

Lava Mountain

When you think about paths & design in these levels, you have to look at the placement of the zones & the order of the areas. Cause of course Tropical Coast is like one of the last 3 levels so its gonna be a big stage with lots of space. Then the specific zone, of course zone 6 would "Probably" be the hardest.

Before I forget, another thing I wanted to talk about was the gravity of these stages, you might notice the screen flip around here & there & thats one of the changes: Reduced Gravity. So far in Windy Hill Zone 4 the gravity had the sunflowers shoot up in the air, then when you flipped upside down, the sunflowers turns into a hazard, so yea thats one of the effects of gravity in this game.

Yo Kablam you got a gif of Ivory Lightning from the TGS Trailer, or you got a gif of Zazz holding the moon & could you make one =P?

Sonic controls just fine, idk why people we're freaking out D=. The only issue is, you have to get used to holding the L or the R at certain times, like when your platforming or your on a small platform, cause Sonic will fly right off if your not paying attention. What I did was stop holding the L & R button when I was on platforms alot like Desert Ruins Zone 1 Pillar's.

Frozen Factory is great too, you just have to time your L & R Speed Up's when your on that slippery ice, cause you will slide off if your not paying attention. Then there's Desert Ruins, avoid the quicksand or use Indigo Astroid to cross it & your good.

My suggestion for Parkour is, start out with a Spindash towards the surface unless they give you a dash pad, then keep progressing up the wall until Sonic starts sweating, then press Y again & Sonic speeds up the wall for awhile.

Oh it's great to know this game controls good as some people said.

Yea the controls are fine, its just the Frozen Factory that throws people off, & some of the quicksand in Desert Ruins.

I didn't make these, I got them from cake.

Oh my bad XD

I cant stop thinking about Super Sonic being in regular stages in the 3DS version, the feels are coming again!! I still want stages like the Honeycomb, Sweets, Casino & Aquarium 3D water section.

This is legitly all the proof you need for the Casino in the 3DS version though:

Neat! How was the framerate, 3D effect, and transitions through stages? Also are you required to use to touchscreen to activate Wisps? And (ok i need to stop haha) are the level designs up-to par with the console version of Lost World

One last thing btw (probably my most obvious ever question lol), can Sonic still use to Homing Attack with the A button? Just wanna make sure.

Damn the 3DS Zzazz's battle looks good as hell, even though it's just one screenshot, maybe because of how well done are the models and graphics.

Homing Attack is A & B

Framerate was fine, no lag as far as I see in these demo's, same should apply to the main game =P.

The awkward transitions are now fade to black if you didnt already know, and some of the transitions stayed the same, cause they looks alright. Yea you use the touchscreen to activate wisps & extra shields if you have them. The level design compared to the Wii U version is great & thats what iizuka was going for. Here's what he said if you missed it btw:

"In Colours and Generations the focus was a side-scrolling game. If you look at Lost World, the main concept is a cylindrical world, so it didn't make sense to do a side view. The 3DS's extra power makes it the sort of place 3D can be used really well.

Even though it's more powerful than a DS, it still has its limits. It wasn't easy to get the same levels, but we kept cutting things back until we could get it so that if you looked at it - in a trailer, say - you couldn't tell which was which. We tried to get the same feel for Wii U and 3DS."

This most likely means stages like the honeycomb & auto running stages are in the game, but they took effort & tried to make it look as close to the console as far as the level theme as they could, the level design is different though.

Ikr, its like the models are the exact same, just the sunset. I think the Zazz battle is gonna go something like this:

So lets just say the bosses have around 6-8 Hit points

You start out at Day time, then you hit Zazz around 2 times, where he tries to chase you off the screen so you have to take a jump pad to the next portion of the boss. The next portion is the sunset, after you hit him around 2,3 times he chases you again, leading you to the night stage area. He busts out his best moves, you beat him thats probably the boss fight in a nutshell. His moon thing is gonna put in some work though, shooting stars, crushing sonic, all that jazz.

Considering the 3DS version will more likely have 6 levels per zone like the Wii U version, you'll probably encounter Zazz 1 time per 2 levels, but as Windy Hill ZONE 4 it's a daytime stage on the Wii U version I don't know how the time boss time segments would work like, I just hope they aren't as patheticly easy as Sonic Colors' bosses.

I was so happy for that Zazz shot in the trailer. Gives me hope that the 3DS will have some great bosses too, or will be good recreations of their Wii U counterparts.

don't forget that in the 3DS version you can store up to one of each type of wisp on the touch screen, at least I think, do they have have some wisp specific puzzles for wisps you collect in other levels for secrets and red rings.

Y'know, now that I think about it, why couldn't you get that exact same part with Yellow Drill on the 3DS? If Burst and Asteroid are in 3D, the Drill might be too!

This game still looks really good for an SD version of a console game. I hope Dimps make an original 3D portable Sonic game, so it didn't have to be compared to an HD counterpart and be inferior. It's inferior, but not bad at all. There are some features that are better than the Wii U version; Parkour doesn't cause Sonic to loose momentum, there are upper and lower paths (there are few, but they're there), and supposedly it controls better.

Yes. Maybe it could be an official 3rd game in the Rush series, but this time with full 3D!

My claim was correct! According to the TGS Stream theres only 1 Wisp per zone, some zones not including Wisps. In the 3DS version I pointed out that there was 1 wisp per zone in the images & stages I pointed out:Tornados_have_eyes_really.png

Desert Ruins Zone 1

Even_pyramid_balls_are_high.png

Desert Ruins Zone 2

Give_me_my_switch%21.png

Desert Ruins Zone(Assuming 3)

Your_fate_is_to_be_blocked....png

Desert Ruins Zone(Assuming Zone 4, I played Desert Ruins Zone 1 in the demo & this looks nothing like Zone 1)

Back to the TGS Stream, we saw Red question marks & one of them said 2 Red Star Rings, so in the 3DS same happens with the Wii U version, vice versa. Desert Ruins in the Wii U version most likely has the Hub World Map & then in the Desert Ruins you unlock Desert Ruins Zone 2 & 3(The zones with the Honeycomb & Sweet Mountain Theme), most likely the levels are out of order & you need Red Star Rings to progress into other stages to 100% & unlock Special Stages maybe for both versions. What are your thoughts & opinions & do you agree with mah claim =D?

(EDIT: All in all what im getting at is, Red Star Rings most likely unlock the out of place zones.)

IN MY OPINION it's just inferior because of the graphics, but anyways.

And irk? It's good to know this isn't a watered down rush clone, looks like DIMPS could get used to this new style.

And don't forget the 3DS version has a challenging-looking ranking system, even more than the Generations 3DS's ranking system.

Am I the only one here that thinks the enemies in the 3DS version tear you a new asshole, the giant worms in DRZ1 for example.

Lol lets not talk bout the inferiorness of the 3DS version(If thats a word) & be glad its about as epic as the console & not a suck ass tital like Generations 3DS. Either way im glad 6 acts is in the 3DS version due to legit proof from the TGS Stream, go to page 31, if you missed my other post bout the 6 Acts

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the technical limitations, but I disagree on the level design stuff (Example: Desert Ruins 2>DesSert Ruins). And what part of "IN MY OPINION" didn't you understand?

And I agree with Zazz/KingKnux, inferior or not, at least it's not a massively watered down, Sonic Rush clone.
