Good news everyone! We now have a topic dedicated to the leak and other spoilers in general, so no need to clutter things up here now.

The day SEGA prevents a Sonic game from leaking before release will be the day when the world implodes upon itself.

 

Poor SEGA...and Game Freak.

 

They were so close to having a leak-free release.

im noticing that zone 3 of each world is the "out of place" one

 

windy hill zone 3 is the cave level

 

desert ruins zone 3 is the candy level

 

tropical coast zone 3 is the underwater mine level (tho this one makes a little more sense)

 

frozen factory zone 3 is the casino level

 

silent forest zone 3 is the weird blue and purple level with the drill

 

it seems like the first two zones are there to introduce you to the zone and zone 3 is pretty much "now for something completely different"

 

the only odd case is desert ruins zone 2 since giant honeycomb forest doesnt really fit in with desert ruins either

The whole honeycomb forest thing could just be an exaggeration of a real desert oasis. Just replace water with honey, and there ya go.

To everyone who is not aware of this yet, this was created by some obsessed fan on Twitter who made the entire thing up and keeps spamming the Sega twitter account, as well as the VA's twitters with it as well. Mike Pollock and Aaron Webber both confirmed it's fake, and honestly I don't see how the hell anyone believed this story, let alone published it on news sites.

It's a typo, it's just gotta be. No way they would announce a delay like this. Not to mention at the Nintendo Direct a week ago it still said October 29 (which was the date after the FIRST delay)

It's a typo. November 29th is not a proper release date for SEGA releases. This is SEGA of America, they constantly make mistakes.

No, that was October 29th. Not November 29th. This typo on the SEGA site says NOVEMBER 29th.

The site now says October 18th. It was a typo.

You're probably looking at the UK version of the site. It says November 29th if the flag at the top right is set to the US.

Seems kinda weird that they'd even write November 29th when the game is supposed to be due a MONTH earlier... Really hoping it's a typo for you guys :/
