Plot Inconsistencies?

Only a small one but Chaos' tail is a bit of an inconsistency throughout the series.

It's assumed that Froggy is the first creature to come into contact with Chaos after he is released from the Master Emerald and flees Angel Island. Froggy absorbs his tail upon attempting to drink him, though in the first cutscene from Knuckles' story which is chronologically his first appearance he shown to be without a tail, the same for the final cutscene from Super Sonic's story and all subsequent game appearances despite that his tail has been 'restored' by then.

Probably just a minor oversight on the developers point of view and nothing really drastic but I'm guessing Chaos 0 was supposed to have a tail rather than a stump lol.
