You know... something tells me we might actually get pre-orders opening at stores following this.

 

I recieved an email from retailer Game earlier inviting me to join them in watching the conference. They even have a dedicated section of their website to the conference.

 

To my knowledge, they didn't do this with the Vita or the Wii-U.

 

They didn't do it with the "PSWii60" announcements, but then again, 6/7 years stores using the web in ways like this was unheard of...

 

So whats the odds that game has pre-orders open the moment the announcement is made?

If the rumours about a 2013 release are on the money, they have to open up pre-orders now because it's only a few months until said rumoured release.

If the PS4 is announced, I'll be excited.

If it's not a PS4 announcement, and something underwhelming, I will laugh. Hard.
