I think he made that same face while hunched forward in SEGA Superstars Tennis' loading screen...always creeped me out to no end...

What about Ristar as a playable. I mean, who would like to see him as a playable?

And you know, I feel like Ristar deserves a spot to be in it. :( (alongside NiGHTS, but that character is a giveaway to be s playable...)

My Character Wishlist: Ristar (mostly as a playable please), Gilius, NIGHTS (possible), Toejam and Earl, Shinobi (Joe M.), Amitie, Vyse, Bayonetta, and Sir Pepper, Blaze the Cat, The Chaotix (or) Silver the Hedgehog!

I know I say it alot, But I really wish for Ristar as a playable so much. :(

Even if it is all but confirmed at this stage, I still think it's a little bit of... well, not exactly a waste, but still. Sure, ASR was good and was very commercially successful, but come on, after ASR we were all basically saying "So, when are we getting All-Stars Fighting?"

Would be neat if the announcement somehow managed to be that, though. Either way, NiGHTS needs to be playable. In fact doubly so if it's a fighter. :lol:

Hopefully Green Hill and and Casino Night aren't the Sonic stages.

Glad to hear this news, even if I do want and All-Stars Fighting. ASR was a great game.

Because a fighting game could take a long time to make, and believe me... It would be very difficult for them to do so. A Racing kind of game is very simple, so a sequel is possible. :)

Plus, Since the Whole "Nights in ASR1" demand, and ended up as a flagman thing, it's an obvious playable to appear (maybe alongside Ristar). So I think your hopes for NiGHTS could happen at this point soon. But I bet we will see like more than 30 Playables in ASR2 at this point.

My biggest concern is balance between the different racers. The bikes had a ridiculously unfair advantage thanks to the wheelie boost that could be spammed to gain boost on straights unlike the cars and therefore needs to be addressed. As far as characters go Ristar and Nights please with their own tracks also some new power ups, more alternative routes and shortcuts would be interesting. Finally I think all the vehicles need to have a higher max speed especially when not boosting because they felt a bit pedestrian at times.

There's a lot of good press surrounding that name.... I personally wont hold my breath hoping they will change it. Even if it is long and unnecessary.

Still, I'm stoked. At best, were looking at a teaser trailer, but anything to get excited for on this front is welcome news to me. .

Eh, it could work. Especially if you can customize it a bit. I'd be game.

Perhaps the "transform" applies to the racetracks themselves. Something akin to Motorstorm Apocalypse?
