I'm bummed out about the news mostly because One Piece is being pushed back 30mins now. It's already a slight struggle to stay up to 1AM. =/

Most likely yes, theirs gonna a lot of editing, mainly in the second season.

 

But anyway, Now I get to witness Levi in all his awesomeness slice and dice Titans on my T.V., happy Night it was.

Yeah, Kill La Kill isn't happening unless it's put in the early morning slots with a lot of edits to the nudity. Adult Swim are surprisingly strict with nudity.

We're getting some DC action on Toonami, Beware The Batman is coming to Toonami, it seems to have replaced Stand Alone Complex.

 

And for some odd reason, it won't show up on their Tumblr page, so here is the new schedule for May 10th.

 

I liked the show from what I seen of it, plus it's pretty cool to have a DC cartoon on Toonami again.

Hmm, I'm actually mildly ambivalent with this new schedule. On the one hand, I've been wanting to see Attack on Titan for a while now, so I'm excited for that. On the other hand, Beware the Batman was kinda meh to watch -- maybe this could mean that there's a chance that Young Justice and Batman: Brave and the Bold could air at some point as well?

Q: It's no surprise that Toonami fans look at Anime fans as elitist snobs because we're not enjoying the same things they are and really, regularly shitting on popular stuff like Deadman Wonderland and SAO. What is the appeal of Toonami?
 
A: I know plenty of anime fans that are also Toonami fans. Toonami is a "gateway drug" to anime and action cartoons that has exposed millions of people to their first anime, and thereby turned millions of people into anime fans that go on to explore all the format has to offer. And we've worked hard to make Toonami more that just "shows." Many, many people have been kind enough to reach out to us over the years and tell us about how their first exposure to Daft Punk, or Gorillaz, or a particular videogame, etc was also through Toonami, or how they remember a TOM speech, or a particular music video we made and how it inspired them. We've also had many people tell us how a particular TOM speech or video helped them get through a hard time, or make a hard decision, or even in some cases, helped them not kill themselves. If you can't see why a block that can do all that, plus treat every single one of the many many shows we've aired with more respect than ANY other network, then I don't think you'll ever "get it." The fact is, anime fandom would not be what it is today without Toonami, like it or not.

 

I love that quote by Jason, hes totally right without Toonami I wouldn't have been exposed to anime until way later or none at all and it was thanks to TOM that I played games like Pikmin.

Really can't wait to check out the dub, although I've already seen the first 5 dubbed episodes at the Anime Boston convention last month.

This will surely boost ratings for the entire Toonami Block for sure.

You can hear stuff such as some of the lineup music, Space Dandy's old bump music, and the song used for the IGPX finale promo
