If you're excited about the ten-year anniversary of Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and want to try owning a piece of history, you may want to keep your eye on Ken Penders' website and auction page, because the writer is planning to sell a one-of-a-kind trio of pencil, inks and coloured prints for Sonic #125's cover artwork.
The auction will be for three separate works, sold together - the original pencil artwork by Patrick Spaziante, the inked version of the same by Nelson Ribiero and the coloured final by Spaziante. Penders said that this would be the only pencilled cover art in existence, as usually the inker tends to work on top of the pencils of any given page.
According to Sonic HQ, the starting price of the auction itself is $1,000. So we hope you have a fat wallet.
