  • Fast Friends Forever Weekly Comic Launches With OK KO Creator

Ian Jones-Quartey stirs up some Sonic 3 nostalgia.

The first of many officially-commissioned fan-comics for Fast Friends Forever has been unveiled, and this four-panel adventure comes from none other than OK K.O.! cartoon creator Ian Jones-Quartey.

Posted on the official Sonic social channels earlier today, the comic features “what the Marble Garden boss would be like to go through for Sonic and Tails”, according to Jones-Quartey. It also includes a rather inspiring message, we have to say.

The animator/show runner/executive producer also answered some questions about himself for the Fast Friends Forever season. The Sonic related answers can be found below, or you can read the whole thing here.

    Quote

Who is your favorite Sonic character?

“Tough choice! I love something about almost every one of them! But you can never go wrong with choosing Sonic. He’s the best!”

What was your first encounter with Sonic?

“It’s been so long I don’t know if I can remember! I was definitely caught up in the early 90’s Sonic mania where he was in gaming magazines, comic books, TV etc. so I definitely saw him several places and got fascinated by his character design and his world.”

More comics and events are due to come from the recently-revealed Fast Friends Forever series, so stay tuned!
