There appears to be an emergency policy in the general TSS staffer section regarding removing all of this for both spoiler and leaking purposes, unless I am mistaken.

I too have acquired the music with that method, because even though a CD might come out, nothing beats HQ rips from the source.

Of course I'm still buying the game day one cause in level Super Sonic is awesome.

However, I never did open the main files. I was only after the music anyways. Also the way the speed shoes is handled has got to be the laziest method EVER.

They're separate tracks that contain roughly 15 seconds of sped up music, which features an arrangement change. It then turns into the normal versions and then loops twice.

Essentially, they've cloned the soundtrack files for the sake of speed shoes. That's lazy AND wasteful.

I can talk about this as long as I don't provide links right?

Yes I did, I never freaked out, I simply stated that it is getting out of control since the whole game is available to download. I don't see what that has to do with ME downloading and ripping stuff from the game. >_>

Also, I don't think this is a spoiler, since there's never been a time where the drowning music had a different melody (Sonic CD didn't have drowning music so there =P). In any case, this game has the crappiest rendition of it bar none. Dare I say Sonic Genesis did it better. I'll have to listen to it again.

Is a crappy version of Sonic 3's. Same with the Round Clear, but it actually works there

Oh my what a dissapointment, it didn't sound nostalgic or even 'Sonicy' in any way, thankfully awesome remixes have the right idea

I really don't understand why people think the soundtrack sounds nostalgic if it sounds ripped from Sonic 3, but not if it sounds ripped from Sonic 1 and 2.

Then again, I don't see why so many seem to hate the soundtrack in general. It's catchy, it's bouncy, and, IMO, totally Sonic.

Are you kidding? That remix sounds like a horrible, chaotic mess. I guess it sounds nostalgic if you liked the Emerald Hill Theme.

...I like that remix, but the original's not too bad either. I'm not incredibly impressed by the soundtrack or anything, but it's far from horrible, and there are definitely some gems here and there. I'd call it just a little too bland, if anything.

If there's a single thing I want to see changed in the extra development time (well, apart from you-know-which-level), it's the horrifyingly repetitive second piece of boss music. It's okay when it's used normally, since it only plays when the boss has a hit or two left, but it was absolutely unbearable when it was played for several minutes straight over

the boss rush in E.G.G. Station.

Does that constitute a spoiler? With all of the leaks, I've honestly forgotten.

What I am analysed these soundtracks; sound pretty nice remixes. Good combination modern + retro. Sounds better than Sonic Rush music (No stupid japanice kids screaming, No stupid words).

More like these and that is better be good or Shadow is even more Ultimate in my eyes! *Evil laught, Chaos Control and dramatized special effect*.

After listening to some of the game's music in the IGN review, I actually kinda like the game's soundtrack. I found myself humming the main menu song before I went to bed, the songs in this game are pretty damn good.

UPDATE 10/10/2010: Seeing as predictions no longer apply to the Soundtrack of the first episode in this mini-series, I've edited the topic subject, and will soon add my Sonic Stadium Soundtrack Squad Reviews of the OSTs of all three segments of the game as they are written and released. In the meantime, however, you can discuss your hopes for the the audio for the second and third Sonic 4 titles, as well as your opinions on the music of the first. Keep posting!

So I just heard Casino Street Act 2 new music and I must say it's ten times better than the iPhone act 2 music and pretty much puts it to shame I really like this track though XD. also there is new Super Sonic music which replaces the Invincibility music what we heard in the leaks & the iPhone release which played when turning Super Sonic sounds very awesome =).

If there's one thing I didn't like about S3 and S&K it was the Super music being the same as the invincibility music. The new piece for Super Sonic is so much better, instrument and composition-wise. Didn't expect it to be changed actually. And the new CSZ2 track is also brilliant. It's the same style as the old/iPhone one, but much better and longer. It's easily one of the best tracks in the game. It uses a variety or instruments...
