^ Sonic the Porno - Starring Zac Effron as Sonic...

Whyyyyy?! I have to agree though Gabzie, he is not exactly a GREAT actor and yet he is plastered onto EVERYTHING that has a male lead.

This HSM franchise is so annoying, I hate it too. I figured 3 would be enough. HSM is a trying to be like Grease. Grease was not so bad I will have to admit. HSM will never be as good as Grease. Disney has turned into an evil corporation. Though many of us non-Disney fans this already. Walter better get out of that cryogenic chamber and set things straight. :P:lol:

1st Photo from the Set of Tintin

Empire magazine has the world's first behind-the-scenes picture of Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. Check it out below!

This shot was taken during a few moments of down time on the set, and shows Tintin himself (Jamie Bell) and Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) talking with Spielberg.

Pick up the latest issue of Empire for more on the film, including more pictures.

Watch Two Minutes from 9

Looks epic so far.

Russell Crowe as Robin Hood

USA Today has posted the first image of Russell Crowe as Robin Hood in the Ridley Scott film.

Robin Hood is set to open in theaters on May 14, 2010 and also stars Cate Blanchett, Vanessa Redgrave, Mark Strong, Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand, Alan Doyle, Oscar Isaacs, Lea Seydoux and William Hurt.

Crowe plays Robin of Loxley in an origin story of Robin Hood that hews close to historical facts of the period. Abandoned as a child, he finds community with the common people of Nottingham. Robin's abandonment and trust issues hamper his ability to fall in love. He meets his match in Marian (Blanchett), a strong, independent woman.

She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal.

The Lovely Bones comes to theaters on December 11th.

Russel Crowe certainly looks swish as Mr. Hood, the clothing looks about right for what we know of the time. I hope the film maintains the standard of historical accuracy (in regards to clothing, buildings, things people had) we saw so welcomly upheld in Kingdom of Heaven and Gladiator. This is going to be roughly a hundred trillion times better than the BBCs poorly written Robin Hood show.

Oh wow a Tintin film! I love Tintin! Used to read the books in French and own the cartoons. =D I will see that film when it comes out - to give it a chance. Doesn't mean I have to like it though.

Aaaaeeei, a Tintin movie! I'm more interested in actual stills of the movie though. I hope it looks equilavent to Monster House, not the Polar Express. That one reminded me of Halo cutscenes. Halo bad. D=

Mm, the Russell Crowe as Robin Hood picture is awesome. <3 But why does it remind me of gangsta Robin from the BBC series? Gah, get those images out of your head Gabz~

At least there probably won't be tokenistic black/asian Merry Men. A black religious scholar, in Medieval England? Laughable.

I don't know exactly what Tintin is. I've heard of the name, but I just don't know what it is. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Although this is most likely a rhetorical/ranty post, I'll answer anyway. The bolded bit is subjective, so it really can't be used to explain why or why not to use him as a male lead. The main reason he's used as a male lead nowadays is because he sells. :P

Dragon Ball: Evolution was the best! I got to sit in a theater with two friends. No one else was there. We dicked around and made fun of the movie the whole time =DD

Dan Brown has announced that his next installment of the series, "The Lost Symbol," will be published in the U.S. and Canada by Doubleday on September 15, 2009. The new story takes place during a twelve-hour period.

Eklund once decked Sugar Ray Leonard and went the distance against the boxing legend before forfeiting his career to drugs and crime. He redeemed himself by training Ward through his Rocky-like run to the title.

Wahlberg will play Ward while Bale will play Eklund.

The Fighter is expected to begin production in July.

Statham to Star in The Mechanic Remake

Coming Soon reports that Simon West is in talks to direct Jason Statham in a remake of the 1972 classic The Mechanic, which starred Charles Bronson.

In the original film, Bronson played Arthur Bishop, a mob hit man who operates in a world of his own an uncompromising world where conventional rules of morality don't apply and where one wrong move could cost him his life. He's always worked alone but, as age catches up with him, Bishop takes on a competent and ruthless apprentice (Jan-Michael Vincent) and teaches him everything he knows. Together they become an unmatchable team of globetrotting killers until the pupil's ruthlessness puts him on a collision course with his teacher.

The remake's script was penned by Shane Salerno.

Well duh! But that doesn't mean I personally (and that was my personal opinion) I have to think he is a great actor. He's overrated in my opinion.

Oh and Emma Tintin was a comic book series by a Belgian author "Hergé" who created him and set him out on Adventures. Tintin is a reporter with read hair and a little flick and his dog Snowy (who talks and makes quips in the comics but not in the tv series) are the most notable features but there is also Professor Calculus and Captain Haddock.

If you want to know more here is a link to some information: Tintinologist. See unlike most people I don't like using Wikipedia to educate others. Bad practice and all that, what what! XD

It is a great series, the comics are great but if you don't really want to sit and find all the comics to read I highly recommend you watch a few episodes on youtube. They are equally as enjoyable and very fun. Plus the opening theme tune rocks!

Zac Effron is in almost anything nowadays... -__-;

I know T___T and I hate seeing his stupid face everywhere. It's worse than Will Smith, atleast he starred in some good films in his time.

I adore Tintin, have since I was a kid and read the comics and watched the cartoons, I have one of the books somewhere in French. I'm so looking forward to the film!

I hate Zac Effron too although I kind of feel sorry him, I mean he's constantly banded with the tween films because of Disney and if he ever tries to break out of his typecast he'll be hounded by the press, like Miley Cyrus was. But that's another story ¬_¬

Schwarzenegger Talks T:Salvation Cameo

Coming Soon reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger gave some details on his Terminator Salvation cameo, but it's not quite what we've all hoped for.

Schwarzenegger said, "I made it very clear that I don't have the time to do the movie. I said that I would be willing to be in the movie if they get the technology together, and so they are working on that right now."

He continued to say that he would be in a brief scene in which John Connor (Christian Bale) encounters him as a "future Terminator."

Terminator Salvation hits theaters on May 21st.

Wolverine Producer on the Future of Magneto and Constantine 2

Coming Soon reports that X-Men Origins: Wolverine producer Lauren Shuler Donner dished about the possible Magneto film and a follow-up to Constantine.

About Magneto, she said: "I don't know. We have a great script. Honestly, we have all been just so focused on getting Wolverine out that we didn't take the time to sit down and explore 'What are the movies we're going to do next within the genre?' We will do that. We will do that. We all want to. Magneto is a fantastic script, and hopefully we'll make it. I don't know."

She added that Constantine 2 is looking "very good. Thinking about it. Looking for a writer."

Charlie Hunnam to Star in Thor?

IESB reports that "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam is the latest actor who has tested for Kenneth Branagh's Thor:

Hunnam confirmed that he has indeed screen-tested for the role of the god of thunder. He has only shot one screen test so far, and when asked if it involved running around with a helmet and a hammer, he replied with a smile, "Something like that."

Hunnam didn't know what the status of the casting was but said that his people have been talking to Marvel. He believes that since Marvel pushed the start date of Thor back a few months the studio is taking its time to make the best decision for the film.

He just doesn't want to always be the face of Disney or the face of musicals; hence the turning down of Footloose. But it can happen. Look at Shia LaBeouf. <=3

Personally, I think Zac Efron is a decent actor. All of the movies I've seen him in were at least alright and his performance as an actor hasn't been too disappointing.

Aoi: Shia LaBeouf has always been an actor I've liked. :D I watched Even Stevens when I was like... 10 or something, and his roles in other movies have been done well. I loved Transformers, too. =P

New TMNT movie annouced

A big announced for today's 25th anniversary celebration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - the heroes in a half shell are returning to the big screen!

Variety says that the Mirage Group, which owns the property, is moving forward with a live-action film focusing on the origins of the iconic crime fighters.

The project, targeted for release in 2011, would mark the fifth big screen outing for the sewer-dwelling heroes Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael as well as their master Splinter.

Legendary Pictures former chief marketing officer Scott Mednick is producing the new film alongside Galen Walker, who produced the 2007 computer-animated TMNT. Peter Laird, Gary Richardson, Frederick Fierst, Eric Crown and Napoleon Smith III are executive producing the film, which is based on the characters created by Laird and Kevin Eastman.

Laird said the film will remain true to the spirit of the original comic books. He added that the film may employ face replacement technology, which would allow the turtles to be much more expressive.

Looking forward to it! :D I'm glad that Peter Laird is involved and that the film will be close to the comics.

Is this going to be a continuation of the CGI film that they made? If so I highly doubt I'll watch it, as much as I am VERY much a fan of the TMNT, I am not a huge fan of ones that cut out Shredder and the original crew like they were nothing.

Hopefully, they use the costumes from the 1st two movies. Though the TMNT would look better in CGI, yet need a better plot than the recent TMNT CGI film.

Sin City 2 Shopping for New Backers

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sequel rights to Sin City are being shopped around Hollywood, in what appears to be a sign that Dimension Films has lost rights to the property.

The Weinstein Co./Dimension continue to maintain that they hold the rights to any sequel for the Robert Rodriguez film, but producers say they have been shopping the rights by representatives for Frank Miller's estate.

It is unclear what kind of involvement Rodriguez would have with a potential sequel.

James Marsden Set to Star in Straw Dogs Remake

Empire magazine has announced that James Marsden is set to star in Rod Lurie's remake of Straw Dogs, in the role originally filled by Dustin Hoffman.

The film's plot has been shifted from the English countryside that director Sam Peckinpah used last time to the Deep South of the US, but the set-up remains similar. Marsden plays a Hollywood screenwriter who moves to his wife's hometown down South, but there the estranged couple continue to fall apart, while old tensions with the locals reemerge, leading to violence.

Both films are based on Gordon Williams' novel The Siege At Trencher's Farm.

Straw Dogs will begin filming this August.

Why must they take Nightmare of Elm Street and IT from me?! Seriously those are the only two "Horror" type films I can put up with watching and not get tired of them. Besides the guy who plays Freddy originally could still pull it off, it's not a physically demanding role! He is an amazing actor and that guy What's-His-Face from THAT "Watchmen" film... he is not Freddy material! He's not even menacing, he is just a jake!

It would be like watching a fan made film where they just pulled a homeless alcoholic off the street and said "You are Freddy". It's not impressive. =( Stop ruining films people! They're not even over thirty years old!
