Just finished watching Madoka, a fantastic series all the way through. Laughed, cried (>_>;;), and the grimdarkness of it as well as twists got to me.

However, despite all of that I must be a horrible person because during the final episode I couldn't get some bad jokes out of my head and had to put one of them down into a picture.

Welcome to being a Digimon fan. Digimon series generally have little to no consistency in terms of fansub regularity; sometimes they'll be done within a day of the episode airing, sometimes they'll be a couple of episodes behind, then catch up again. It fluctuates madly.

New Naruto episode had pretty swank animation for once. It always seems to be a Sasuke fight when they actually decide to animate better than average.

The Highschool of the Dead OVA...I think I just watched softcore porn.

@Jayhawker, shhh. We are still in denial about that.

Gun X Sword.

I'm about half throw the first and last, and the middle seems good so far, its a lot better than some other Shonen I read(*cough*Bleach*cough*)

That was a huge fucking letdown. Yeah, the Kyuubi sequence was great, but the rest of the fight was the typical animation that brought down the seriousness of the fight. I expected it to be epic and brilliantly animated like the Sasuke vs Naruto fight or the Sasuke vs Killer Bee fight. Hell, even Sakura and Chiyo vs 1000 puppets had more care into than that crap. Notice how these fights just took one episode? Instead we get a brief hardcore sequence that took place in the transformation that the show wasn't trying build as badass. If anything, they should have atleast built the Sage mode transformation as more of a threat with more fluid animation.

What are you talking about? The Naruto vs. Pain fight had the Best animation EVER.

Pain's Roadrunner animation is something that I wish the Sonic X animators would've tried atleast once in that show, but alas, Sonic X was crap through and through.

Has this manga been translated in english? It was released today in France and Belgium. I got my copy, the art is good.

It's been more than 10 years since we got a Pokemon manga. Just 6 issues of "Pokemon Adventures", 3 or 4 of "Magical Pokémon Journey" and 2 of "Pokémon gotta catch them all" (with a young trainer who can understand what his Pikachu says with a device)

Just saw Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko Episode 3.

The artwork on this anime is just absolutely OUTSTANDING! And the characters are really great. Erio was cute in the last scene also.

There was a new ED animation too (song was the same). Let's just say that some of the scenes weren't really needed.....

Surprisingly decent song, unsurprisingly embarrassing animation content. What's the point of fanservice in anime if it's just going to be still shots?

One Piece Collection 1, due out in either June or July. It'll have eps 1-26 for around 30 bucks or so, which is pretty cool if you didn't pick up the other sets.

Funi, this is great n' all, but erm... where mah season 4 at? I get the feeling their either stalling for time because of negotiations with Toei, or their trying to boost DVD sales before production on dubbing season 4 begins.

I can only see myself buying One Piece when they start packaging them in 52-episode box sets. I only ever bought the first set due to novelty rather than with the intent of seriously trying to collect them.

What the hell, Kishimoto? Did you honestly just skip the fight between Kakshi and the 7 Swordsmen and the fight between Gaara and his dad?

Are you retarted? xO What was the fucking point of showing them meeting eachother if you just decide to skip it?

And then A and Tsunade are still being complete dumbasses and decide to go fight against the two Jinchuriki to protect them.

And suddenly Madara decides to seal the Ginkaku Bros Kyubi chakra instead of getting Naruto and use the tentacle from Hachibi for that chakra. Why start a war if this was possible?!

I like Yugioh. And I mean the original show. Bash me for it, I actually like it. It's an interesting anime, and I like the manga quite a bit too, both are well done in my opinion.
