  • Report: Angry Birds Set To Fly Into Sonic Forces Mobile

    Seems Rovio's iconic birds are already set to knock down the walls between them and SEGA's IPs.

    Sonic Forces Mobile just got an update today, and with it, data mined info hinting at what’s to come for SEGA HARDlight’s long running mobile title. Twitter user “@SonicMobileNews” has found renders for the Angry Bird characters Red and Chuck alongside a new Sonic variant which I guess we’ll call “Jester Sonic.” Interestingly, these appear to just be stock renders taken from the Angry Birds movies, rather than renders made specifically for the game.

    In addition to renders, SonicMobileNews also found images for new items from all three characters, including a breaking wall, slingshot and red feathers item. You can check them out here.

    Finally, another Twitter user, “@HiddenAngryBird” has found Red and Chuck’s models, including how they’ll look in their “ball form.” Seeing them do a jump spin is certainly…interesting. Check them out below:

    As these haven’t been officially announced yet, we don’t know when they’re coming. But they’re likely to be made available in the game soon, within the next couple months.

    Interesting to note that Angry Birds once collaborated with Sonic Dash with it's Angry Birds Epic event. Seeing a new collab now that SEGA owns Rovio is quite a sight to see

    On the other hand, I'm very disappointed by the fact some Angry Birds will be in the game... let me explain!!...
    FORCES : SPEED BATTLE is one of my favourite SONIC game and each month, it's a real pleasure to discover and welcome a new character by HARDlight ("brand new"characters or "doppelgängers") with his / her own stats and attacks and see the SONIC multiverse keeps expanding (Halloween Dimension, Christmas Dimension, Movie Dimension and so on)!!...
    I'm OK for cross-overs in games like SONIC DASH for instance : Some Angry Birds appeared in the game in 2015 as bonus characters and SEGA should have made the same in 2024 (moreover, they have new designs based on the ANGRY BIRDS movie) instead of adding them to SPEED BATTLE's roster!!...
    I know SEGA spent a lot of money to acquire the Rovio Studio but for SONIC fans like me, SPEED BATTLE's roster is a sort of "dream come true" roster : Each month, it brings a new addition to the SONIC multiverse... and I really don't want to have to wait two more months to have a new SONIC character because of the Angry Birds!!...
    Of course, I won't unlock them : for me, they have nothing to do in the roster of my beloved game : they'd better be added to SONIC DASH instead!!...

    I have a big problem : The lattest update of the game from yesterday erased one of my runners (Darkspine Sonic) and the game now indicates "Characters : 93/92" and I can't see Darkspine's photo in my roster, locked or unloked!!...
    Have you ever experienced the same bug and do you know how it can be fixed, please?!...

    Kind of great expect to see Angry Birds heading in Forces Speed Battle can’t wait see their moves plays into it plus Circus Sonic weird pack coming somewhat included I’ve suppose yippee. :(
