    You'll might be aware of the explosive popularity of 'Wordle' - but did you know there's a Sonic music version of the game floating around the internet? We just discovered it, and it's a daily delight.

    'Sonic Heardle' - itself an offshoot of "Music Wordle" spinoff 'Heardle' - offers a song from a random Sonic the Hedgehog soundtrack every day, and you simply have to guess what it is based on incremental segments.

    If you’ve never played Wordle (which was the original browser game that kicked off the whole “___dle” craze), it’s a simple daily game where you have to guess a five-letter word in six tries. ‘Heardle’ is the same concept but with audio, and 'Sonic Heardle' speaks for itself.

    Don’t spoil the current day’s answer in the comments, but feel free to chat about how challenging it was in general. For yesterday’s song, I was able to guess it in less than 1.5 seconds (it was Bridge Zone from 8-Bit Sonic 1), but today’s challenge totally wrecked me. It took me five goes, because I spent ages trying to remember the name of the level it was from and then got the game wrong!

    Ha, this is neat! I was able to guess it with the first 3 seconds, but only by technicality. The track that I thought it was wasn't actually listed, but a remix was so I picked that and it was correct.

    4.5 seconds for me.

    I hadn't even heard of Wordle until someone told me about it yesterday, lol.

    This is neat, got today's song within 4 seconds; yesterday's however, not a clue, but it was a Mario & Sonic remix, I'd never get it right.

    I got today's in the first 1.5 seconds. It's an easy one, but getting it right just felt so wrong.

    I'm a bit frustrated with today's song. I knew what track it was so I tried searching for that, only for the correct answer not to come up. I had to end up entering the game it was from after a few attempts where I assumed something was wrong with my speakers (they're not in the best of shape on the device I was using at the time) or if the source used by Heardle was just faulty. I guess it just means I know for future songs to do that, but I wish there was a master list to pick from rather than typing the name in the search bar - even as a second option for those that prefer to just type it in.

    Amidst all the Origins hype yesteray, I managed to forget about this. What was the track? 

    Just completed today's and I'll be incredibly disappointed if anyone here can't get it in 1.5 seconds. It's probably one of the easiest.

    Today's was kinda tricky on the very start, I was leaning towards other song, but got it after

    This is a fun game, I just wish we could do like, two or three songs in a row

    I got todays on the first try. I knew the game because it's very different from most Sonic music. I just wasn't sure about the level. I took a chance and got it right.

    The intro is recognisable, the question is whether it was that rendition, or the other.

    Considering the bit-crushed Mega Drive sound, it wasn't too difficult to guess which one.

    I'm absolutely having fun with this so far! It's really put my knowledge of Sonic music to the test, and as an aspiring musician myself, it's also showing me a lot.

    So far there's been 28, I've participated in 22, and won 16.

    I am familiar with the acoustic renditions in the Black Knight OST (e.g It Doesn't Matter / Believe in Myself), this track tho, I forgot about it.
