Can any of those "pro" players do a speedrun without breaking a stage?

And I might go back and do some more no-glitch runs later for fun... for now though I'm having waaaay too much fun breaking things.

That was a really creative speed run!

Im top rank for the classic crisis city stage i have no video of it though, but I did not break the stage.

My time is 1:41:71

If i was going to record it would be a really bad quality video, my HD camera charger is lost somewhere in my house.

One thing that annoys me is that I find they had perfectly placed some objects that just REALLY get in the way of your speed runs *points at Classic Planet Wisp*

Just got #33 for PSN Classic Speed Highway (1:44). It might not be as impressive as a lot of the stuff here, but for me this is extremely unexpected.

EDIT: Now it's a 1:34, and my place is #11.

Holy crap I feel awesome! Too bad I don't have any decent recording equipment.

EDIT 2: BBHBHBNJ Now I got #25 on Classic Seaside Hill and I was hardly even trying. I think I'm possessed tonight. How many people are on these leaderboards, anyways?

Maybe but wow that basically destroys the stage. A hole 5 mins gone down the drain. =D

If you're good at the stage it only saves about 30 seconds to a minute, honestly...

I don't get how he does Planet Wisp Act 2 glitch at 1:30, I've tried but I cant keep boosting while on mid air like he does.

EDIT: NVM, now I know how, now the problem is getting the proper height so you don't get stuck inside the stage. xD

I think because i homing attacked in the section before. Not sure...

So yeah I don't know if your counting Speed Runs for Special Stages on the 3DS version in this topic but I came joint 3rd in the world on Casino Night Zone Special Stage :)

Classic Super Sonic + Thunder Shield + Homing Attack...someone should do that!

Wouldn't that cause button map classing? Homing Attack and Thunder Shield are mapped to the same button.

That didn't stop me from using doing it before, or using Speed shoes and Fire shield just now.

Isn't Homing Attack activated by pressing the Jump Button twice and isn't the Thunder Shield activated by pressing the Y (Triangle) button?
