Here is another one from me.

Speed Splendor Zone

In this zone, Sonic and friends come across a park area, one where there is lots of speed! In fact, there are lots of things happening with the speed that goes on here, from constructs being made from speed to afterimages being seen and so on. There is lots of fun to be had here, but it looks like Eggman made this park, so as the heroes followed him here, it is time to do a little "inspection".

In this zone, Sonic and friends come across many robots that move at high speeds, usually small ones. In fact, technically speaking, these robots can form pathways, walls and other constructs by moving at high speed that the heroes can interact with! The heroes can form their own constructs as well by running over a device on the ground that activates their "inner speed powers". It is possible to get trapped in a speed cage, but the heroes can escape by making their own speed cage in an opposite direction.

There are also tornadoes formed by fast robots that can help or hurt the heroes, so they must enter at their own risk. Robots with afterimages come by, and it is possible to interact with the afterimages with attacks. There are many large, grey springs that move up and down slowly or in other directions, but if the heroes press a switch, they will temporarily move faster, making them push or launch the heroes at higher speeds. There are waterfalls that, with a hit of a switch, the heroes can knock to cause it to hit things as if it were still solid, though Sonic does not need a switch. There are fast moving platforms that can be slowed down when Sonic and friends enter a gate that makes them perceive time faster, slowing things down, making it easier to go across them. There are blue gates too that cause Sonic and friends to move so fast that they can be invisible and intangible, by passing detectors and moving through walls. Just don't stop while moving through walls or the heroes will perish.

Note: This would be Act 1's music.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDE5Us3KEqo&ab_channel=DeoxysPrime

And this would be Act 2's music.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1orb9P194ao&ab_channel=DeoxysPrime

Also, Sonic would love this zone, while Tails would not like it due to not liking speed much.

What do you all think?

Here is another one from me.

Robotic Restaurant Zone

In this zone, Sonic and friends come across some kind of factory that also mixes in with some sort of cafe. Except this is no ordinary cafe, but a cafe with food made for robots. Yep! It is that kind of stage we have here! There are many different kinds of foods Sonic and friends cannot eat due to the fact that they are made of non-edible energy sources. The food here is used to power Eggman's robots and machines, so it is time to stop them!

In this zone, there are many vats filled with "drinks" for robots, such as natural gas soda or diesel juice. Sonic and friends can jump into them, but they must not let the vat catch on fire while they are in there or it will be an instant death. There is oil used for "icing" on cakes the heroes can jump up like the sand falls in Sandopolis Zone from Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and there is kerosene used for "condiments" on food as well as gasoline that make liquid slides the heroes can slide down.

There are bright, solar energy substances that are in the form of "meat". The heroes must avoid these, as touching them can make them explode on them. Some of the "foods" are giant and electrified, so touching them is not a good idea. There are "cheeseburgers" made out of solid energy tablets as "cheese", coal as the "burger" and coke (not the soda, but the substance) as the buns, which the heroes can break to reveal hidden items within them. There are "chili dogs" made of peat, coke for "bread" and oil for "chili", which the heroes can move out of the way to reveal hidden routes. There is some "pizza" on coke "bread". gas hydrates as "meat", yellow oil for "cheese" and charcoal for "pepperoni" that the heroes can get stuck on, causing them to need to jump to get off. There are powdered metal rooms where metal powder falls, filling the room the heroes are in and forcing them to make their way to the top or end up crushed. There are also different kitchen utensils like forks, spoons and knives and kitchen appliances like blender, stoves and sinks, which can harm or hurt the heroes in different ways.

What do you all think?

Here is another Sonic the Hedgehog level idea of mine.

Lively Lot Zone

In this zone, Sonic and friends go through a park with lots of logos, pictures and text signs to be had. However, all of these are animated, as they are either able to move, change shape, or both, contrary to modern day signs that do none of that. This is a test area for these kinds of things, and they make neon signs in casino zones look stiff. The things seen here much like animated text and logos seen on computers. Eggman is hiding here, so it is up to the heroes to find him.

In this zone, there are shapeshifting signs and logos that are made of "smart" liquid metal for them to be animated. The heroes can ride the liquid metal or sink through them. There are signs with animated, flipping letters or pictures that the heroes can fall through when they flip. There are plenty of moving sign letters, some that move fast enough to launch the heroes into the air, and there are sign letters from the background that move forward when Sonic and friends get near them, pushing them into a bottomless pit or lower area if they are hit.

There are many signs, logos and pictures that only animate when Sonic and friends step onto them. Some split apart while others move while others may have different effects like launching the heroes into the air or giving them a speed boost. There are sign letters and pictures and logos that can only move when a nearby switch is pressed. There are also "poetry in motion" sections, where words for forming a poem or song are animated that Sonic and friends can run on. However, they do disappear as they transition to the next part of said poem or song, or they may be going downward from above, and the heroes can run on these words as platforms. Speaking of disappearing, some signs, words, pictures and logos disappear and reform every few seconds, requiring timing to get across. Some of the words, signs, logos and pictures sink when the heroes step on them, but rise when they jump off of them. This is based on a platform from Carnival Night Zone in Sonic 3 and Knuckles. There are also lines of text that move that the heroes can ride on toget around, with such text sometimes moving in loops.

Notes: Act 1 would have music like this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWly41TDdpc&ab_channel=DeoxysPrime

And Act 2 would have something like this for music.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlRwT6oeshc&ab_channel=DeoxysPrime

Also, the animated text and logos would be like this.

https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/1*6KpMu3AsphxUm_Jugziwyw.gif

And this.

Here is another idea from me.

Tile Territory Zone

In this zone, Sonic and friends come across a kingdom-like area filed with many different tiles, many of which are very beautiful and have different designs on them. Many tiles form different patterns that are pretty, just like those that you see on and in old palaces and such. Here, Eggman has taken over this territory, and with that, he is up to something, and the heroes will have to go and stop him before he does it!

In this zone, there are vertical tiles that can be spun, sometimes revealing a picture behind them. With that, the heroes can match two or more tiles if they turn the right ones, making it so that the heroes can gain prizes like rings or shields when they flip the right tiles. There are also tile platforms that turn sideways, so when the heroes are on them as they turn, they will fall to a lower route. There are also stacks of tiles that move as a road the heroes can run on, similar to Casino Street Act 2 of Sonic 4: Episode 1.

There are also tiles that spin so fast, that if the heroes are on them, they are pushed by the tile into spinning with them fast. The heroes can jump off of these, though, going up or down depending on the direction they are facing when the tile spins, or left or right if the tile is horizontal. There are tiles with pictures on them, and in some sections, the heroes will have to jump on each tile in a certain order to make something happen, even in 2D. If such tiles are in 2D sections by the time they are encountered, an image will be above each tile to show what picture is on the tile, making it easier to complete the task. These tile order sections are fully optional. There are sections where Sonic and friends have to step on the right tiles correctly and jump over others. If they are to step on the wrong tile, they will cause machine guns to be revealed and start shooting at the heroes, so they must be careful. There are also spinning circular tiles on the ground or on the walls, and they can redirect the movement of the heroes, which can be helpful to or hinder the heroes.

Additional Info: Something like this would be the music.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKaovPOZro0&ab_channel=YassinSalleh

What do you think?

These levels are for a sonic fangame i want to make based on Sonic Spirit By The artist Mark Flynn, check that out, its cool. And where this game takes place is a island names the jewel Isles, since Gems are a big Sub-thing in sonic (Phantom ruby, Chaos, Super and Master emeralds, Time stones, Etc.) so i named them after Gems. the others that Arnt are just stuff i made in Classic Sonic Simulator.

Cobalt Coast Zone: Akin to Mystic Cave and The Caves of Green Hill Zone (act 2, to be specific), Cobalt Coast Zone (Abbreviated as CCZ), has lots of water, making underwater caves, Moutain Quarries, and Mushroom springs. these caves have Tunnels, Horizontal and vertical loops, Spikes, and this Zone’s special item; Sturdy Cobalt that can be used for armor, or buildings. Eggbotnik Industries is trying to rid of this Area of its Presious Recourses. he could probably make the caverns Cave in.

Opal Overpass Zone: Similar to Hill Top Zone, Opal Overpass is a mining Quarry just above South City that Eggbotnik is taking the Minerals to Power his machines. There are lots, and lots of minecarts, and lava, and ziplines to parkor off of. lots of Robots, obviously, and there even is a Chase with Drilling Bots shaped like woodpeckers.

Ruby Raceway Zone: Idk, i liked the name ig. if i had to guess, it would look like Radient Emerald from Sonic R. i didnt think that through-

Sunny Grove Zone: A Splash Hill-Eques Level. it would have giant sunflowers and springs shaped like dasiys, and cannons like Roses. Water is in act 2, making it noon before the next level

Temple Outskirts Zone: A outside Temple with puzzles. better in 3D than 2D if u ask me.

---

I came up with one overnight.

Buoyant Battalion Zone: Similar to Metal harbour, BBZ will have lots of robots, but the main gimmick would be going into the submarine/Water fortress (Bouy Base Galaxy like) and going from sub-to-sub, by jumping or by pipes.

---

Here is another one for Sonic Spirit:

Neon Utopia Zone: Ziplining from the Mountain Quarry (Opal Overpass Zone) to South City, NUZ is the second level before the finale. You fight the original Metal Sonic for the last time. There are lots of neon lights, with billboards and signs you can slide through like CPZ pipes. There are many places to slide under, walls to climb, and streets to race. Clunky Moto-bugs like to drag race towards Sonic, trying to trip him up. there are also Street Sweepers that can mess him up. In Act 2, you temporarily ride a Subway that goes into the sewer that spills runoff into nearby rivers.

---

Forgot i had another, (and since im new, I cant edit it rn) sorry:

Polluted Dunes Zone: This takes place at Noon, sonic enters a Beach with Machines mining oil in the distant coastline. He can gain speed by rolling down dunes and jumping off of oil spills. Here, you learn how to slide under fenced areas, and wall jump over things. You can also run up walls. This is your first run in with Metal Sonic.

---

Here's another one based off of SegeSonic's Trap Tower and The scrapped Sonic 2 level, Madness Mountain Zone. I don't have a Solid gimmick for this Zone, so if you have one, don't be shy, add to it, I'm fairly new at this.

Medieval Mountain Zone: Sonic and friends Find a Castle in the mountains. They first go through a gauntlet of traps within the mansion, like web-spewing Spiders, Flying bats with lasers, and a swinging axe, that can seriously hurt our heroes. There are many drawbridges and fake walls, so keep an eye out for secrets! After going through act one, Eggman (or Fang, or someone new that's a trickster) fights you on a drawbridge. They drop spikeballs and unleash bots with rods to shoot out lightning. Starting act 2, by dropping the drawbridge you were fighting on, Lava starts chasing you! You have to get outta there before you get burned to a crisp! There are also Bombs, fake walls of spikes that fall to hit you, and lightning rods to disrupt your speed! Be careful, there are also many pitfalls.

Tropical Panic Zone - A Zone where you first enter a tropical landscape with palmtrees and giant pillars from a ruined setting. Then in Act 2, you enter a Festival setting with coastal elements and colorful neon lights in the background.

Scrap Forest Zone - A level where you start in a forest/jungle area with elements from an industrialized factory like conveyer belts, metal pipes, and other contraptions.

Neon Highway Zone - A stage with elements from a city that is reminiscent of Stardust Speedway Zone, and with elements from Chemical Plant with the criss-cross shifting pipes and the amount of loops and ramps from Spring Yard Zone.

Tidal Mine Zone - An underwater stage with underground water elements, but with the second act changing into a crystallized mineshaft with gemstones and diamonds shimmering in the landscape.

Jungle City Zone - A stage that is self-explanatory. With the first act taking place near huts and treehouses, then Act 2 revolving around traveling inside the urbanized jungle of wooden tubes and vines.

Cannon Crater Zone - A big airship made by Eggman with fire and blazing heat inside the ship. With the 2nd Act containing a section where you escape the crumbling airship to the final area of the game.

Egg Junction Zone - An experimental stage made with a gimmick where you board a hoverboard type ride that latches onto walls and ceilings, this was inspired by the Egg Robo rides found in Titanic Monarch Zone in Mania.

Dude, Sonic 1 had 6 Zones (7 including Final Zone), this is just enough for a full Sonic game!

Edit: hehehe, my bad! I'm just bored at school and have lots of ideas. that's what you get from a person locked up in they're room and has pseudo-ADHD... sorry for the trouble!

Hey, to try and get the right thing done...

Please do the same with my posts above if you wish. Some of them may need to be put into spoiler tags, but I did not like the idea of making too many posts at once one after another, myself.

Picture Puzzle zone

This zone is in a mysterious castle full of photos with important events in Sonic's history. You have to chase Eggman through them and while that, you fight badniks created from Sonic's memories.

It does, if the post dates are close enough together (it's a spam prevention measure), but if someone posts at 8am and then leave it a few hours to post later on at 9pm+, it's treated as a new/separate post.

I'm enjoying reading some of these Zone ideas by the way! Very creative! :)

You haven't seen anything yet...from me, anyways. I have quite a few more, but when you have the time, as well as anyone else who might come across these, here are two more ideas of mine.

Energy Elation Zone

In this zone, Sonic and friends come across a mechanical area where different things are made of energy. So pretty much, this is an energy themed stage. There are many energy themed gimmicks and obstacles to be had here, and it looks like this place was built by Eggman to be an reactor to something. Whatever it may be, it is time for Sonic and friends to go in and shut this place down!

In this zone, there are energy beams, both vertical and horizontal, that Sonic and friends are able to revolve around when they jump onto them, which they can jump off of to reach other locations at any time. There are energy spheres similar to those in the pinball bonus stage of Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and there are also energy shapes in the forms of cubes or pyramids, and Sonic and friends can move around the edges or around them overall to reposition themselves and jump off of them, all depending on what part of the shape it is they are on.

There are also an infamous returning feature from Sonic CD: The Wacky Workbench floor! That's right! In this zone, this floor will cause the heroes to be launched high into the air whenever they touch. From Sonic 3 and Knuckles' Death Egg Zone, there are energy beam bridges that go on and off, making it so that the heroes must cross them fast. There are also, from Sonic 3 and Knuckles, ring shooters that encase the heroes with rings as they fly around the stage. Also from Sonic 3 and Knuckles are the teleporters from Hidden Palace and Sky Sanctuary,, which will warp the heroes to different locations around the stage. There are also energy bars the heroes can hang or swing on, and some of them move upwards to higher locations that the heroes can access by hanging onto them.

Sharp Steppe Zone

In this zone, Sonic and friends come across a steppe, one with very sharp elements. The dirt and sand are abrasive, and there are many things that are very sharp, both in terms of metallic and natural objects. So as you can see, this zone is very dangerous for many travelers. It may be because of Eggman, who is doing things here that may be causing some of the sharpness, so it is up to the heroes to stop him and drive him out.

In this zone, Sonic and friends come across abrasive dirt and sand, which can drain the heroes' rings bit by bit the longer they are on them. Without power-ups exclusive to this zone, it is best to stay away from the terrain and stick to the main path. There are many sharp plants that can be found like sword grass and cacti that can harm the heroes, though some of them have flowers on them that will launch them to higher places, so if the heroes wan to reach the higher areas, they will have to time their jumps carefully.

There are buzzsaws in this level that can harm the heroes, much like in Scrap Brain Zone in Sonic 1. There are spiked balls in this level as well, some that are on chains and some that roll around the level, and they must be avoided. There are sharp electric fans that can hurt the heroes if they touch them, and there is abrasive, airborne dust too sharp to run through. However, if the heroes activate the fans, they can be used to move the sharp dust away to clear the path, and sometimes move them to destroy certain obstacles that are in the way of the heroes. There are many wooden spikes on the ground that can harm the heroes, though the heroes can spin dash through them and clear a path and sometimes even uncover hidden items or routes that they can go through, such as tunnels.

So, what do you all think?

What is the difference between Zone and Idea, as in two of the check box options?

(i should've said this sooner) a zone is what we are sharing here, just like this. an idea is like, how we should make the game. what characters are playable, how should it be made, just ideas for the fangame as a whole.

I think 2 things about this zone:

1. There should be a metal sonic fight here. (Way too fitting)

Here is one I showed Cyb3rkn1ght through PM. This is the one I want to go with the fan games project thing.

Arcade Avenue Zone

This takes place in a whole city around nighttime. There are lots of lights to be seen in this lit up city. However, this is not a casino city at all. Rather, it is an arcade like city. That's right! This is an arcade themed city you're in! Sonic will have to make his way through this city on his adventure to stop Eggman. This does look like a rather fun place to be in, but with Eggman on the loose, chances are, there will be trouble you have to deal with.

in this zone are in the form of air hockey tables, pool tables, ping pong tables, basketball tables and Foosball tables, all that have objects that can knock Sonic around or even harm Sonic if he is not careful! There may be some puck or ball Sonic will have to watch for. Sometimes, Sonic can exit these roads by getting to the goal area on the other side of the road. Sonic can interact with the pool balls on pool tables.

Many of the roads here are made of arcade levels, and you get to see some beat 'em up, platformer, shooter and other kinds of games to be seen. There are some things that do not actually hurt Sonic, but some other things can actually do so and cause the blue blur to lose rings if he is hit. There are plenty of elements from different games that include level gimmicks and such, and you might even see some streets modeled after some games made by Sega, such as Golden Axe and Jet Set Radio.

Sonic also finds him around various redemption games that he can interact with. There are whack a mole like games Sonic can play to win rings. There are also skeeball games Sonic can optionally play in a chance to win some rings. Sonic also goes through a "Dance Dance Revolution" like game with falling arrows, which Sonic will have to use as platforms to get to other areas. There are also air gun games that shoot Sonic from a blaster onto a target, with Sonic gaining rings in accord to what part of the target he hits.

There are arcade games Sonic can play in. These games have a coin slot thing similar to the slot thing of the pinball-slot machine areas in Casino Night area. Sonic must jump through these slots to play, and they usually cost about five to ten rings. Once Sonic jumps through the slot of these games, he can go into the arcade machine and play those games and try to win some rings in the game. There are also special, green rings Sonic can obtain, and they can be used to open rooms that serve as alternate routes or rooms with lots of goodies. The special rings can only be obtained by playing games. Sonic can lose these like he does with normal rings so of you get hit, you must try to get your rings back before they disappear.

The games themselves come in different forms. They come in many forms such as Tetris like games, racing games, shooting games. and such that Sonic can play, though not all of them give free rings to Sonic if he completes them. Sonic would have to dodge objects, avoid enemies or break things to get points, and he may win a certain amount of rings based on how many points he has obtained. The games sometimes have a time limit, but can be much longer, and can stop by pushing a special button around the arcade machine to press should the player want to stop for some reason. The games are like Frogger, Breakout, Pong, Invaders, Tempest, Tetris, Asteroids, Centipede and more.

This does look like a rather fun place to be in, but with Eggman on the loose, chances are, there will be trouble you have to deal with.

woah dude, that was fast-

(i should change my name to something more memorable-)

in this zone are in the form of air hockey tables, pool tables, ping pong tables, basketball tables and Foosball tables, all that have objects that can knock Sonic around or even harm Sonic if he is not careful! There may be some puck or ball Sonic will have to watch for. Sometimes, Sonic can exit these roads by getting to the goal area on the other side of the road. Here's my idea i showed Shiny, my turn!

Chilled Fortress Zone: After an encounter with Eggman Back in MMZ (Medieval Madness Zone, my last post), Sonic and Co. go down the mountain to an Arctic setting. they see a huge Metallic Door with Eggman's Face. Mighty and Knux Knock the door Down, and they see a factory producing Ice that Never melts. (I guess, I don't have any idea what Eggman is doing with a built-in Fortress inside an Iceberg, but-)

In Act 1, the gang slides down a lake of water, with Plates of ice you can jump from time to time. there are also Rotating snowflakes that can take you above or below routes. (think the wheel in pinball carnival) some icicles can be used as platforms to reach secrets, and Ice spikes too. there are lakes at the bottom route where you can push blocks of ice into the lake to peacefully ride. be careful though, there are orbit robots from Ice Cap under here. There are also snowman robots that throw their lower body part as a projectile at the middle and top routes and bats with the pig robots from Scrap Brain in the top route. You fight a bigger version of the Snowman Mechs in an Arena that has falling icicles. His lower segment is the head, and his actual head is the hat. he flies around, wielding a shovel that can make really big snowballs that can hurt you if he collects the falling icicles in the snowball. he can also send out bats and smaller snowmen out of his hat.

Act 2 introduces the Factory side of CFZ. it's mostly a vertical Act because all of the Infamos Never melt ice falling. The ice maker from Wacky Workbench is here, making you freeze and slide around like mania. In the bottom route, loops and pitfalls to climb over, making passage easy. be careful (Obviously) because isicles are down here, things to hit you off the climb-thing. spikes and things are down here as well. In the middle area, there are breaking things of snow, like Green Hill, that you have to run away from. ice is being pushed by badniks on the other side of an ice block wall, pushing ice that can crush Sonic. Badniks in this Route are a caterkiller form that blows ice, freezing you in your tracks. Finally, in the top route, snowballs roll down from wall springs that can give you a burst of speed. you fight Robotnik in the Egg Chiller. It's a fight similar to the Airship bosses in Mario Wonder (GOD I hated those) and Quartz Quadrant fight, where he makes ice blocks, but its different sizes and shapes. you jump on them, to hit him 8 times. the arena changes 2 times, having crushers the first time, and QQZ Bombs the second one.

Here is the idea for a boss for my idea, Arcade Avenue: The Egg Dungeon Maze. This takes place in a maze like setting with Eggman at the center in his cockpit. The mazes are Pac-Man like, and Sonic and friends spin through the maze tunnels, with four platforms on each corner of the maze that the heroes can stand in. The objective is to reach the center and hit Eggman in his cockpit, but Eggman will have a force field to protect himself with. To get to Eggman, heroes must must destroy two poles (which increase to three after hitting him twice and to four after hitting him five times) located in the maze they spin through. There will be enemies in the form of game sprites. They can be defeated, but some of them will slow the heroes down, so they are best to be avoided. Eggman will occasionally release an electric attack that fills the maze, so when the stage turns light blue, the heroes must exit to the nearest platform to avoid the attack. The heroes can either hit Eggman eight times or defeat enough enemies and do other things to get the high score without hitting Eggman to defeat him.

After being defeated, Eggman swears that he will make the heroes pay for this, but then a bunch of game characters come in and attack Eggman, for they see him as a "glitch", sending him flying backward and fleeing as the heroes go to free the animals from the capsule at the end of the stage.

So, what do you all think?
