OK so Season 2 premiers on August 1st on Disney XD and consists of 50 episodes. It seems safe to assume the anime is here to stay. Still no word on dubbing the films, but they'll probably release them on DVD at some point:

As for the Season 1 DVD set it will release late 2016.

That's certainly good news! I was worried that it was going to stop after 26 episodes considering we haven't heard any news until now.

I've seen the first episode of Yo-Kai Watch, it's an okay anime. I actually laughed a little bit at some parts, it was a pretty silly cartoon. I should probably watch some more episodes on my sister's Netflix, I need to what happens on episode two.

Let me tell you that episode 1 isn't even close to an accurate reflection of the overall quality of it. The anime only gets better as it goes along, with the writing consistently improving in wit and in heart.

Figured I'd post this here cause it looks really cool, the third Yo-Kai movie that premiers in Japan this December has live action and CGI mixed with the hand drawn animation:

Glad the movie is getting a theatrical release and not just coming out as a TV Movie or on DVD. Totally gonna watch it on the big screen if it ever comes to Canada.

Sorry Failin, but it seems only the US is getting a theatrical release, you'll have to watch it on DVD.

As for you Americans, the movie is gonna have a single screening October 15th(Saturday) at 11AM, you can buy tickets here:

Here's a complete theater list:

Atendees will receive an exclusive Hovernyan medal that will be worth a lot on Ebay without a doubt since this one screening is the only way to get it:

Mehhh... us Canadians got shafted by Level-5 once again. We missed out on two promotional medals from Gamestop, and now this.

They better release Hovernyan for the DVD release. I want him.

I caught the tail end of it since I wasn't able to see it in theaters, and I liked what I saw, so I'm hoping it'll either repeat soon or I can catch it online.

I'm planning on streaming it eventually, so PM me a good time for you if you're interested.
