Oh, whoop - I sent the wrong signal with that:

The Mushroom Meanies weren't in the capsules, but they snuck up behind Sonic and got him while he was enjoying his little "treat."

Aaron didn't take care of his surroundings before saving those animals!

...which he later abandoned because he wanted to grind on those rails. tongue.png

Aaaah, that's a shame. Oh well. It's nice to see Mushmeanie either way.

So there was that Bubble Shield and Lightning Shield from Sonic 3! And there's a new "Bomb" Wisp, too.

So for people who can't watch the 20 minute gameplay video let me give you an overview.

As I said the Asteroid Wisp seems to send you to bonus levels, no idea if that's the case for all of its appereances

Frozen Factory 1 is like those Rolling Ball stages (Sonic turns itno a giant snowball form) from Mario Galaxy mixed with Super Monkey Ball, it looks hard as shit so expect a lot of piss inducing rage.

Silent Forest 1's opening has the most intense Unleashed era grinding to be seen, so much shit trying to kill you. There are also high and low routes like past Sonic game.

What I love about this game is that each stage seems to be unique from all the others, so far I haven't seen two similar stages from this game and im loving it.

ALSO THE MUSIC IS SO FUCKING GOOD HOLY SHIT! SILENT FOREST IS JAZZY AS FUCK! AS IS THE CASINO STAGE

From the looks of things, it seems like multiplayer is gonna be nothing but recolored sonics. Goddammit...

But other than that the game looks amazing! I might consider getting a Wii u now!

Wow the stages are looking more and more diverse, and huge too. The game looks pretty big.

I can't wait!

Okay, That was fucking fantastic.

The support looks cool, I'll certainly be trying that out, and the races look awesome! Can't wait for those. Are they Local or online? And please say you can play as regular coloured Sonic rather than a recolour, but hey, that's not a big deal...

Now we know who said the "You're going home in a box!" line.

"You're going home in a... FUCK!!!" That's what I heard.

Ok, so the rip isn't the best quality, because Yahoo doesn't have HD. Welp, I tried.

Thanks a lot bro! If it's not too much trouble, do you mind converting this gameplay video: http://news.yahoo.com/video/sonic-lost-world-gameplay-preview-211445576-cbs.html as well? Thanks!

Anyway, I'm super glad there's competitive multiplayer, I've missed that from Sonic games since SA2, even if now it's only 2 players. With one player playing on the TV, is that a good argument that this game will support the Pro Controller? Because I think this game has too many functions to map to a Wii Remote.

Frozen Factory level looks cool, seems a bit too dashpad-heavy (seems like a problem with most of the game, why can't SEGA just forget about the damn things?) but the skating looked cool. I'll wait until I see the gameplay video for full judgement on the zone.

I can't take a lot of screenshots right now but here. Check this out from Frozen Factory:

The ice level has Mario bobombs.

Santa Claus In Trouble?

Spiders? In my Sonic?

Nonononononononooooo... It's Zelda all over again for me *hides in corner* ;;

Remember these little spiders near the end of Red Mountain? Edited by crystallize

Is that Zor saying "So upbeat I wanna beat him up"? He sounds a lot like Sonic.

Also, it seems Zazz says the "going home in a box" line.

Oh hey, they're keeping the Simulation Hedgehogs from Colours for multiplayer! ... does this mean we'll still get to be able to choose a Mii in a Sonic outfit and even choose your top speed again?

Definitely interested in how the item boxes from Miiverse sharing work; it doesn't seem to completely blank out an item when you choose one and select another, so I hope that doesn't mean you can just spam any item for every situation, especially with Invincibility and Speed Shoes being spammed over and over again. Also quite annoying that they've kept the double jump normally, yet offer you the chance to use the Electric Shield, so I hope this isn't a sign they've overlooked the biggest flaw of 3D Sonic.

AKA, LIGHT RING DASH + ELECTRIC SHIELD
