Sony @ E3 2012 | "Hey Asshole!" *Brick & Shotgun to the FACE!*

Yeah, I don't really see WHY these two are attacking the guys. it seems they are going directly out of their way to kill them.

probably the same reason you kill anyone in any game ever... pacing

the problem is the characters idle chit chat really clashes with them brutally beating people to death/shotgunning them in the face. IDK the game looks fab but seeing all their small talk and then watching the guy smack the shit out of a dude with a shotgun is pretty jarring. Oh well

Dayumn nice camera angles on that shit there. I like the health meter for once. Also I recognize that chandelier from Uncharted 3, and probably that soda machine there. Game looks nice.

The Last of Us looks very good!

And G4, it's 2012, why are we still bleeping out cuss words at 10:30 at night when all the little kids are surely in bed? I had to switch over to Gamespot's stream because the sleeps go so annoying!

It happened so often and they were so long it got kind of funny.

I don't think Nintendo really has to try that hard in order to be the best presenter out of the Big 3. Sony was all right but, they weren't anywhere near as good as Ubisoft.

Pretty much what I was expecting from Sony. Good showing of good games, but not a hell of a lot in the way of big awesome surprises.

Hmm. Miles better than Microsoft's show.

So far:

Microsoft < EA < Sony < Ubisoft

So it's not really a horror zombie game, but more like a post apocalyptic game with survival elements. Love those kind of games! =D I want thisss! ..Aww, that was it.

Alright, Sony. That was good. Nintendo has their work cut out for them; this is gonna be a tough act to follow!

Were we watching the same conference?

Aside from the storybook stuff, I thought they was a very good conference. It was much better than Microsoft's that's for sure.

Sony's conference basically just confirmed that they offer absolutely nothing for someone like me. The only thing that interested me was AC3L, which isn't so much Sony as it is Ubisoft.

Nintendo lets see what you can do!

Wow a funeral has more exciting moments then Microsofts conference. Seriously. That's all i will say.

Good going, Sony. Really strong start, really strong finish, and only about fifteen minutes of boredom to remind us that the Move exists.

Definitely a very solid presentation this year. I'm satisfied.

Yeah, I have a PS3 and the only thing that compares to the expectation of Nintendo shown so far is Ubisoft.

Well, they showed some pretty good stuff.

But most of them was already seen in the Ubisoft conference and they didn't bore the hell out of me (despite the hosts efforts to do so) with some tech demo/commercials.

Good conference, though not the best.

Nintendo does have a nack of announcing stuff that doesn't actually exist yet. Everything in this conference was actually there in some form. Even if it changes or gets cancelled for...whatever reason.. at least it was there. There was no "Oh by the way new *insert nintendo title here*" moment. Everything that they announced/talked about was there and ready in some state.

Even with the Wii-U stuff tomorrow, I'm still expecting a lot of this from them.

And it's over!

All in all, pretty good! There were a few duds, like the Book of Spells (which I know my sister will snap up like hotcakes D=) and all that non-gaming app stuff, but the weight of AAA titles like God Of War, The Last of Us and Playstation Smash Bros made up for it.

I mean, Nintendo will probably blow them out of the water, but well done Sony! You did good kids!

It was a decent conference guys, yeah Ubisoft was better, but at least Sony actually had games.

Sony has had better, but they have had far worse. All told, not too bad. They didn't even spend much time at all on sales figures and such, which is usually their forte of boredom. And even the Move shit was impressive, if boring as all hell.

Other than the Move boring segment (time I wisely used to engross my porn collection instead) it was good. Expected announcements, but solid. Pretty much all games.

I take it they're holding back on a few studios for a next gen blowout 2013, as they should.
