My hype levels are rising, I hope there's plenty to do post-game as well, because after battling with my friends for so long, I got bored of Black/White real fast.

Keldeo's new form its just plain bad, looks like they just gave it a new form so it can be like most event Pokémon since Deoxys.

It is pretty bland compared to the other forms revealed, it's changes are barely noticeable.

And that is why it is bad.

When I think about new forms I think about Giratina for example, this guy just has 3 feathers that are the same colour has the Musketeer trio and some drill like horn made of that blue hair thing from the regular form.

I believe I officially hate Keldeo just for having a new form, that looks terrible I might add. There's more pokemon more deserving a form change.

Its the new Shaymin sadly enough.

On a side note Elesa looks cute with black hair.

I'm pretty sure Keldeo having a new form isn't exactly stealing a hypothetical form that some other Pokemon could've had. Its maturation into the legendary hero Pokemon certainly isn't quite so dramatic as the changes to others (apparently it's technically a Form rather than a Forme?), but I think it's appropriate nonetheless. Although it must be noted that the form change does seem to have a number of subtler modifications besides merely the feathers and the horn.

I think Keldeo's new form(e?) is fantastic if only because Keldeo looked terrible in the first place. This is at least a pleasant design.

Poliwhirl and Poliwrath have less in common than the Keldeo formes. Wow.

The Fes Missions can have up to 100 playing at any one time. These missions vary from finding berries to capturing Pokémon and are accessed through the Entree in EntraLink. When you complete them, you may get Pass Orbs or other rare items. There are also more Pass Powers in the game and are easier to use.

Man, I just hope they give Snivy's line some decent moves this time around. The fact that nearly all the moves they learn are grass only is a huge letdown and gives them so little coverage outside of rock, ground, and water.

This. So very much. I'm actually hoping that they do make Snivy's movepool a bit better or else I'm going with Emboar this time around since I chose Samurott last time. And I actually hated Emboar at first but he's been growing on me lately.

And Black City's new look, Giggity.

Yeah, Serperior was just terrible, from it's stat's to it's movepool. It should be able of learning so much more moves than the crap they given it, shoot, TM's were useless on it too.

Well it does have a pretty good Speed stat...

So does Sceptile, but Sceptile has 85 ATK and 105 SP. ATK, while Serperior has 73 in both.

Also doesn't help that Sceptile is ALOT more diverse offensive wise. Thunderpunch, Dragon Claw, Aerial Ace, Leaf Blade, Rock Slide...

I can keep going on.

I AM A SCEPTILE FAN, DON'T JUDGE ME!

Contrary Serperior + Leaf Storm. Oh boy.

But Gen V Pokemon overall had horrible variance in attack types. Perhaps a counter-measure to many of them breaking ground in abilities and setting new base stat records?

Well, I don't got Black and White, but that would make sense. In Gen 3, Pokemon had a lot of variety in terms of movesets and were pretty flexible, but most of them didn't have super amazing stats.

That said, bad variance doesn't stop Special Attackers from abusing Hidden Power.

Chandelure only learning Fire and Ghost moves, and so is walled by Flash Fire Houndoom and Hetran desipte a 145 Base Sp. Atk.? Naw man, Hidden Power Fighting cleans them up in an instant.

There needs to be a physical equivalent to Hidden Power. If only to level the playing field. That, or remove HP altogether, although if that's done Unown loses its gimmick.

So Gen 1 is the origin, Gen 2 is the Wall, Gen 3 is the Jack of All Trades, Gen 4 is Dragons, and Gen 5 is Specialists?

Gen V is more like the Glass Cannons and the Mighty Glaciers. Sure, there are a load of Pokemon that have sky-high offensive stats or a stat spread specifically catered to an offensive approach, but they either have a middling speed stat like Conkeldurr or Golurk, a meager HP stat llike Chandelure, or embarrassing defenses like Darmanitan and Archeops (and that is also compounded by a terrible typing, like Durant with a Steel/Bug typing as well as its 48 Special Defense) that gives them an easily-identifiable weakness.

As for Mighty Glaciers, Ferrothorn, Jellicent, and Mandibuzz are a staller's best friends, and with the advent of Eviolite, many Pokemon are coming out of depths to make a comeback to make use of the Defense boosts, the prime cases being Chansey and Munchlax.

Speaking of Ferrothorn. If you breed leech seed onto and also stick a rocky helmet on it. Dear God, that thing is a freakin' nightmare. First time I played, I seriously destroyed Ghetsis' total team by cheesing it with it. His Hydreigon's flamethrower didn't even make a dent.
