To me, the only bad games I've played are: Sonic '06 (But that's because of the glitches, bugs and loading times) Sonic and the Secret Rings (couldn't finish) Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (couldn't finish) I was itching to add Shadow the Hedgehog and Lost World to this list but they escape it. Just.

I have never played a Sonic game I didn't like. I even long to play Sonic 06 (only played a demo on my 360). The thing is Sonic games are always a little janky, but I end up loving them regardless. I want to get my hands on Sonic 06, Black Knight and lost world. 

TBH, not any recent ones are bad(if we are talking Origins to Superstars), but they aren't outstanding. To me, they all rate 8/10 in my opinion but they are still pretty darn good, too.

Time is an extremely flat circle and I'm all for it

Speaking as someone who also believes that Sonic bashing is one of the most beaten of dead horses: this is an incredibly naieve take that ignores the most basic of observable facts. A series doesn't get better by consuming everything it produces unquestioningly and waging fanboyistic wars in its defence - Pokemon has long since proven that's a prime recipe for stagnation even in the best case scenario.
