  • Silver the Hedgehog Features in Latest Commemorative Art

    Sonic Channel has released a brand new piece in its commemorative artwork series, highlighting Silver the Hedgehog playing around with some apples in an iconic reference to Sonic 2006.

    The artwork is intended to celebrate the release of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 adventure game, which saw Silver's debut alongside Sonic and Shadow as the trio worked together to stop an infernal threat from engulfing the mystical land of Soleanna.

    As the official Sonic social media account states, there was a side mission in the game that tasked players with using Silver's telekinesis power to... lift apples and drop them into barrels. Look, this was 2006, it was a simpler time, okay? "You can see his kind expression and a slightly mischievous side," writes the Sonic social account.

    Silver's arrival in this series follows a number of character debuts, including Shadow back in July.

    Absolutely true, but that's super cute and it really suits the autumn mood, I guess :)
