SEGA Auctioning Off McDonald's Sonic Goodies for Charity

Celebrating the new McDonald Happy Meal toys

Sega of America have put up the ultimate Sonic The Hedgehog Auction ever, to celebrate the launch of some new McDonald's Sonic Happy Meal toys. Below is an image of it.

The auction is to raise money for the McDonald's Ronald McDonald House charity, and features two full sets of the six new Happy Meal toys - one of which is entirely silver-plated and one of only two such sets available to the public. The auction winner will also get a poster of Sonic signed by Yuji Naka, copies of Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Pinball Party, and the full 10th Anniversary limited edition merchandise set (including a crystal paperweight, sterling silver ring and a one-of-a-kind Sonic statue).

Here's the full description from the eBay auction, which you can find by clicking here:

Be the first to get your hands on the ultimate Fun Pack, courtesy of SEGA and McDonald’s!

On June 27, SEGA and McDonald’s will launch the first ever interactive electronic Happy Meal toy and you can own the first set before they are available to the public. In addition, we have created only TWO silver plated SEGA/McDonald’s Happy Meal sets and are including one set as part of this package. You will also receive a copy of SEGA’s new “Sonic Adventure DX Director’s Cut” for Nintendo GameCube, before it launches, and MUCH MORE!

All proceeds of this auction will be matched by SEGA and then given to the Ronald McDonald House charity, so bid well and bid often!

The Sonic Stadium may link to retailers and earn a small commission on purchases made from users who click those links. All proceeds will go to supporting our community and continued coverage of Sonic the Hedgehog. Thank you in advance for your kind support!
