Pre-Orders for New First4Figures Sonic Movie Statue Are Live

Time to dig deep into your pockets, it's Sonic Statue time once again! Model specialists First4Figures have just opened pre-orders for its brand new Sonic movie-inspired piece, which features the blue blur racing along the streets of Green Hills smashing robot drones along the way.

This new "Sonic Standoff" statue comes in two different varieties - the Standard Edition offers the resin-painted figure of Sonic, alongside an authentication card and limited edition numbering, while the Exclusive Edition adds static and animated LED light-up functions such as blue streaks of electricity and light-up eyes on Sonic and the drone.

Both versions of the statue come in at the same dimensions - 26.5cm H / 25.2cm W / 21.5cm D - with the Exclusive Edition being a touch heavier than the Standard at 2.9kg versus 2.8kg. Pre-orders are open now on F4F's website, and there are Early Bird prices currently active for the next month that offers some $25-30 off the base price (Standard is currently $383.99 on this discount, while the Exclusive is currently $413.99).

F4F has also teased that this "Sonic Standoff" statue is just one of three new models coming out, with each figure designed to work together to build a complete scene. The company has not yet revealed what the other two figures are, but its clearly done a fantastic job of making it really difficult for us to guess who it is.
