  • Knuckles, Shadow, and Rouge Confirmed as Next LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog Minifigs

    In a Twitter/X video this morning, LEGO posted a brief clip showing off three new Sonic the Hedgehog minifigs from upcoming 2024 sets, along with the message "JUST IN: Dr. Eggman caused production delays of specific Sonic characters." The news report-like clip is set to the funny LEGO Dr. Eggman video from the launch of the first sets in the Sonic line.

    We're not sure if this is just a joke, if this is LEGO announcing the future characters, if the next LEGO Sonic sets are being pushed outside of its rumored Jan. 1 release date, or all three. But regardless of the reason, this is a solid preview for the Shadow and Rouge minifigs (Knuckles on the other hand can be seen in Sonic Superstars' LEGO fun pack DLC already).

    Earlier this year, we reported on two leaked set listings, rumored to be a Shadow-focused set, and a Knuckles and Rouge set.

    Hopefully they sell on brick links for relatively cheap. As I'm not too keen to fork over $100+ AUD for 1-2 figures. If they came out as mini fig blind bags that'd be cool
